Surrounded by mountains and rivers, this place is too beautiful! To explore it completely, one must take the horse ride. You can bargain regarding the prices for the ride. The rates depend on the number of places one wants to cover. The adventurous kind should never miss it. There are a couple of steep hills which might scare you. But don't worry, the horses are well trained. They know the way. As for the elderly who cannot go for it, there's a park by the river to spend some quality time.

The Pahalgam Valley was one of the best part of the trip. We took horse ride which was shown as Rs. 4500 per horse on the rate list mentioned there, but after bargain it cost us Rs. 2,250 per horse. They showed us three valleys including kashmir valley and also mini Switzerland which was the best. There is also pahalgam market nearby and hotels also.
Tip: Bargain with them as much as possible more than 50% of what they are asking.
