Lovely Biriyani with very mild masala. You will remember Calicut Paragon Biriyani while eating this. It's a vintage restaurant maintained very well and updated inside Kitchen, billing etc. you will find chairs and even a safe with Paris name customised on it. Lot of old furniture Very nicely maintained completes the vintage feel. The Biriyani is tasting the same with dates pickles, coconut chutney and curd salad as accompaniments. Their lime tea, sulaimani is also unique. Absolutely no parking, we came by auto after Parking our car at a distance. The washrooms are very clean.

The quick service added to the overall satisfaction of the meal, allowing me to enjoy my food without any unnecessary delays. I found the porotta and mutton curry to be just okay. The porotta, although decent, lacked the flakiness and texture that I had anticipated. Similarly, the mutton curry, while flavorful, didn't quite reach the exceptional level I had hoped for. Both dishes were satisfactory but didn't leave a lasting impression. What impressed me further was the reasonable pricing of the dishes. The place is quite old and gives you a feel of the old times with the glass box filled with tasty snacks that remind you of old times.

Just average experience. I ordered the mutton biriyani. Taste was good but every bite I took had a small piece of bone in it. Was difficult to eat.

Recently went to Thalassery and searched for a good biryani spot on Google Maps. Everyone recommended the Paris Old Hotel and we went. We got a nostalgic vintage feel from that restaurant and more spacious. We ordered the Logan Chicken Dum Biryani but I felt the restaurant overrates the biryani. But biryani is not bad, My expectations were high from that review. That's why I felt average. Food - 3/5 Atmosphere - 4.5/5

The experience was not good. It's a famous hotel in Thalassery and we saw a good rating, but the experience was not good. It is actually a nice atmosphere inside the hotel. Like a heritage model. The story of Thalassery biryani started here in 1942 CE, when Paris Restaurant was founded by the late M. K. Mohammed Haji. He created Dum Biryani in his own way using special Biriyani masala which has a unique flavour. Even after long 78 years of continuous service, their heritage and vintage charm remain strong as they maintain the hotel, its facade and premises. Initially, the hotel building functioned in a rented space, once home to a member of Arakkal royal family. It was later purchased. The old almirahs and glass jars are still preserved.
