Excellent place. Well maintained water body surrounded by greenery. A children's park adjacent to it. There's a provision for paid fishing in the pond as well. The local inhabitants take great effort to maintain the ambience of the surrounding. Also Kolkata Municipal Corporation had done a good job in this regard. However there's a problem of unsocial activities from nearby Vasapara slum dwellers who roam around and gather near the pond and use socially unacceptable language and obscene activities which is a threat to the long lasting sanctity of the area. Also during rainy reason there's a problem of inundation in the area.

The place is neat and clean. The park is no so big any way the the pond is neat and clean.
