Budget hotel in a very prominent location. Rooms are decent. Ample restaurants around. And if you are devout, very famous temples are just walkable.

This is one of the worst places we have stayed in. The rooms are dirty, the bedsheets have stains. The staff happily lye down on bed and check mobiles when guest are around. The washroom have broken commodes, water leakage. We took 2 rooms and both have same problem. There is no parking space for this accomodation. Dirty and waste of money

The rooms are not clean and you can find dust and dirt in each and every corner. The rooms weren't cleaned before giving to the customer and I could find even waste covers lying all over the bed and floor. Room service won't come to clean and the service is worst. The worst part is no taps work properly and the flush also had to be repaired after we raised the issue. The issues keep going on. This is not just my room issue, we had booked for 4 rooms and all had these issues. Worst experience. My suggestion better not take this hotel stay into consideration. Unhygienic, not worth for the money we pay.

The hotel is located in Nanganallur,Chennai. It is easy to locate the hotel. The room's size is normal. The beds are okayish comfortable and they make a lot of noise when you move on the bed. Pillow covers had some stains. The washroom was clean and neat. You should not expect any room service in this hotel. There is no cutlery to be provided. Overall you can stay here for max 1 night.

Decent place for the price wish the bedsheets, covers were cleaner. While the bathroom was clean to the naked eye, had a funny smell and sis not feel fresh. What's ironic is that you could find the same rooms (Serene heights ) for a Little less rent if you book thru different websites such as agoda instead of oyo. We discovered this accidentally as me and my wife both made reservations under the same name.

While it's a decent one they need to improve their maintenance and service. The walls of the rooms have water leakages and look in bad shape. When asked for an additional towel, the reply was there was no stock from laundry. Guys please abide by the small requests from the customers. On the positive note staff kept the premises clean and have done whatever they could do.

Worst experience ever. The rooms were not clean at all, they charged us extra saying there was a minimum tarrif that we need to pay. Then the staff refused to change stained bedsheets. OYO customer care is of no use either, they just want you to bounce from one property to another. Absolute no resolution from their end. I don't know why they have good ratings, I think all the ratings are either too old or fake. I don't recommend this at all.

Stayed at Silverkey for 6 days ,early October2022, firstly we did not get the room we wanted , but the staff was really polite and helpful , the rooms and corridors were really clean and odourless , especially the bathrooms , the bathroom was spotless , only the nozzles were clogged with salt (courtesy of the hard water in Chennai) the staff also offered us a different room after 2 days but we chose not to shift to a different room, also cleaning of room will be done if you ask them , overall my stay was very satisfactory contrary to the reviews . Now for why I've given 4 stars is mainly the location - it's a 15 minute walk from the local railway station and there is hardly any parking space , the other reasons are the stained sheets and no food. If you aren't a local and have no worries about money definitely choose this place as it's one of the best hotels among the several horrible ones in Chennai (booked 3 hotels before this , so you can imagine how bad the service was in the other hotels) 10/10 would stay again.
