OYO Rajat Residency - Hotel in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

Cleanliness good 4/5 Room size Good 4/5 Basic amenities Good 4/5 Behavior of People at reception - Ok 3/5 Behaviour of room boy - nice 5/5 Location - very far from major attractions of port Blair No base kitchen - they provide foods from nearby restaurant on demand. I have been shifted to this hotel by OYO for three nights. My breakfast was booked but they didn't provide on first day stating time has been over. They even didn't provided any arrangement for the day when I had to go for Baratang in early morning and on check out day with the same reason of early morning checkout. Other hotels provide you packed bread butter in this case. So please don't book breakfast in your package. The owner is too bad (as per receptionist ) . I needed some critical help during stay. My all smartphones were out of order (LCD of one was broken and other wad dead due to liquid damage).I demanded for their laptop access to backup images as they are most important for your. I requested receptionist regarding same but he denied to ask from owner and also suggested to not to talk by stating that he will simply deny to help you. On the last day petrol for my scooty was over and I had to park it some 200m ahead of hotel. I requested the receptionist for any solution , he again denied for any help , while owner had own scooty , can allowed to go to nearby petrol tank or bunk to buy the petrol. In tourist place hotel owner should be more helpful as tourist are completely dependent on their behaviour . In the same situation major hotel people provide you with the solution easily and whole heartily . On the day of baratang visit , I needed an auto in early morning and said to receptionist for the same at evening a day before. He neither booked, nor notified . Even no were there in the hotel at early morning of departure.

Very worst behaviour by the Owner and very Impolite. I stayed in this Hotel with family as booked by my tour .operator Indian tourism on 27th & 28th April during check out time while submitting review he started using foul words and very harsh towads me.no room service no morning breakfast.<br/> I am very sorry for the response given by the owner and make me painful I being a responsible citzen, I am very polite with the staff and completed the payment actually that to be paid by tourism people when I am submitting review for services he the owner became rash on me Which is not acceptable.I think there is cctv in which it will be recorded.

We booked this property for 25th November to 27th Nov. 2018 through OYO but on reaching to the property, the owner refused to entertain and providing accommodation without valid reason in-spite of making advance payment through OYO . It is a very sad state of affair from the property owner. I felt very much harassed on their behaviors and non responsive attitude. I recommend never book this property for stay in Port Blair. Very low grade property.

Room are spacious and airy. Food is good & homly. But does not have basic amenities like water purifier or customized menu.

Owners behaviour not good.no breakfast provided.No room service.location far from restaurants.have to come downhill for even a small cup of tea and climbing up is even more tedious.learn to respect your customers.

Thanks to OYO, this residency is awesome, services are excellent, room are need n clean, anyone planing to visit portblair, Go for RAJAT RESIDENCY and experience the joy of their behaviour

It's a cozy hotel with of course spacious rooms, but the maintenance is not up to the mark

Everything was good,except food delivery timing.if ordered something it takes more than one hour to deliver ....
