OYO New Park Near Marina Beach - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

The hotel still maintains the old school design of hotels in Chennai. Mattress and linen were clean and changed everyday. The service was good enough. Had a pretty decent stay. Worth every penny. The room service could have been much better. Otherwise, it's highly recommended

Probably the worse experience I have had till date. We booked to check in at 7:30 AM & was made to wait in the lounge until about 1:00 PM. Once checked in, we were moved to three different rooms the same day and the room was stinking with no proper ventilation. Besides all this, the lady at the reception was insensitive and rude.

Nice economic hotel , facilities are there. oyo check in time was 12pm, but the hotel guys allowed me at 10am without any extra charge. initially the front office guy was clue less. but after this shift others persons are nice and helpful. rooms are good. hotel is little bit old. but its excellent for the price what you are paying.

This bar is my regular haunt. Excellent service inside the bar.The bar snacks are of high quality ,the price on cocktails is on the higher side but yet fine.Gud ambience,polite staff, a prolific bartender are the plus points.Try their pavilion punch cocktail.Keep up your gud standards.

At 1.5k for two rooms and 1 night stay, this the best you can get. Room is spacious, bedsheet is clean, bathroom is good. However water speed is slow but you can manage. Ac takes time to cool as it is old. Complimentary breakfast was good. Just few metres away from Chepauk Stadium. Around 3kms from Chennai Railway Station and 18km from Chennai International Airport.

Worst hotel... I went with my friend as we were one girl and boy.. They were asking for relationship between us.. I was trying to book from OYO(worst app for couple) indian mentality is not going to change ever.. This is what our india is... I hated the way of talking of hotel staff.. How they were looking at me just because i was with a boy... So OYO people and pur edicated people of india please try to grow up.. Try to be polite not judge every girl and boy together on same scale... Don't behave like fool.. I hated so much this hotel and the mentality of staff.. Then i asked for single room for myself and single room for my friend.. Then also they did not give us...

I booked a room through oyo on 31/08/2019, when i checked in there the receptionist told me that they cannot give us room because the price is too low. and the receptionist told me that to cancel the booking in oyo app and pay 2000 so that we can relax in the room. The receptionist was very arrogant and didn't allow us to stay in the reception. They want us to cancel our booking and stay at a higher price than oyo. I recommend my friends to avoid this place because of the fraudulent attitude of the receptionist.

Not recommended for family. If you book through Oyo, don't expect any additional things from hotel authority. They won't even give packed drinking water (even though drinking water is included in our booking). Even we reach early they won't allow to check in and if we want to leave little late they won't allow bcoz we booked room via Oyo. It's very close to Chepuk stadium.. not even 200mtrs.
