OYO Maa Banadurga Guest House - Hotel in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

I don't usually give reviews... But this time I'm bound to because I want to aware people to NOT choose this as a stay for whatever reason you are coming here. 1. Bathtub is False. No Bathtub . 2. Don't go by the photos. Rooms are extremely dirty and less spacious. 3. Receptionist is very inattentive and respond as if we're requesting him to stay here. 4. They charge extra price that too 100% of whatever price you paid online. Reason: They're not linked to OYO rooms. If not then why you are hanging the banner of OYO infront and have Oyo bed stripes. 5. PLEASE DON'T GO! And I've stayed on September 13th, 2023. So this is recent review. I'm extremely disheartened .

Nice place to stay and staff are very cooperative

First time when I booked, there is no water facility in the bathroom of room number 110 which was alloted to me and 2nd time when I booked I came there at night 9:45 pm. Before gone there I have called the owner 10-12 time but he didn't receive my call and when I came there the manager told me we have no rooms left but after requesting more he said I have a room but I will charged 1500 for that. Can you imagine at night 9.45 pm a person has no option to go any other oyo but thanks to oyo that they shift me quickly to another nearby oyo room. Very bad experience. Very bad

All the hotels under OYO Flagship are a big mess.. They are asked to pay more than the prices shown on the OYO site, as we reached the hotel. If these hotel owners are not comfortable with OYO's rates, they should cancel OYO's flagship and stop ripping off customers. The rooms are very different not nearby to the pictures which are showing on the site.

If you are going there by oyo, then do check with the owner at first. They demand extra money as per their hotel policies and not according to the oyo amount. Except for the rooms, no other things were good enough.

Oyo is the biggest hotel scam in India,never pay ahead as majority of time they don't have a room and is complicated to claim the money back.Stay away from Oyo while travelling

Guest house facility was great. There is no food available in the guest house but they ask to order food by calling a number. Room size was small and there was no mirror available in the room, but they mirror in the bathroom, so we have to go to bathroom all the time for mirror. Overall a good stay (4 star) Privacy and hospitality is the main concern

I intended to give a 3 star, but the only thing made me to change my mind is the Staff behaviour. They were so polite and kind to customer , which will cover all the limitations of this property. We booked 2 rooms. On the day we checked in a little early, but they instantly arrange a room for us for imidiate check in, and they said will arrange another room soon. That initial room was not that good. Then I requested if they can allot better room. They alloted 2 rooms. 101 n 104. I suggest all if possible to take 104 . It's a big room. Very spacious, however you have to adjust on few things --- bathroom is not very good, just ok --- there is bath tub but not clean. You can not use it. --- Stains on bath room floor. --- The glass window has lot of gap, we had to cover with towel to use bathroom comfortably. --- There is no mirror in room. ---. There is only one faucet, which is attached which is adjacent to comode gun shower, you may feel little uncomfortable to use. --- My other room 101 , was also good, but again bathroom was not quite satisfactory. --- The generator was just beside that room, so you will feel the noise when there is powercut. -- Toiletaries were not available . Now what are good about this hotel -- staffs are very friendly, you will get whatever you need within their limit. --- they have a small kitchen, which is not very clean, but the foods they server are very homely and tasty. Always you will get hot food. --- As it's not a restaurant, you need to order lunch or dinner well advance. Over hotel ambiance is good, if not exellent. There are scope of cleanniness. Location of the hotel is just 5 mins walking from main road, and 5-7 mins away from Esplanade mall by auto. If you are travelling for quick business trip, you can choose this hotel. Not with family and on vacation. Over all an OK stay.
