Quality & Interiors of ROOM & COTTAGE are really nice & I have found it as shown by OYO on their website/mobile application. Daily cleaning of Room, Washroom, Bed was done by kind & hard working staff members. Cottage is located somewhat away from main market & someone may feel locked after coming back to the room but Hotel staff were keen to serve. Swiggy & Zomato was absent in Munnar but Hotel staff was ready to arrange delivery of food on extra charge of Rs 50 per trip. Rental Bikes are NOT available in an entire MUNNAR, hence hiring of CAR becomes mandatory. General Stores, Provision Stores, Milk Shop, Tea Stall etc doesn't exist nearby by this cottage. Hindi cartoon channels were unavailable during my stay of 3 nights with family but I have managed need of my child with support of JIO network. Mr Sebastian (Manager) & Owner of the Cottage are truly supportive & cooperative. North Indian may face language issues in MUNNAR because mostly NO one is able to talk in Hindi. I suggest every Vegetarian to have food in Saravana Bhavan which is located in Main Market near to one famous Church. All in all we had safe, comfortable, enjoyable and memorable stay in IV COTTAGE @ EXOTIC COTTAGE
The room was neat and clean with wooden furnitures and private balcony . the staffs are very friendly... But the location is 1.5 km far from the main city and the condition of the road is very poor... difficult to get an auto or cab from hotel to town... there is no restuarants near by however there will be home delivery of food with a delivery charge of Rs 30 have to wait 30-40min.. Tea (Rs 15) and water will be availabe in the cottage...
Booked the room for 2500rs after seeing balcony and many features offered in ad. Only one or two rooms has balcony. So while u book , call the hotel and confirm you gets a room with private balcony as shown in ad. Room didn't have mini fridge or even a kettle as of specified in ad. Definitely not worth for anywhere around 2000.
IV cottage is the real name of OYO 16457. I stayed manytimes here and i suggest my friends to get room in reasonable price Good atmosphere , lovely location . Family can stay without any disturbance.

Lovely little place to have breakfast for 300 rupees after a long hard bus journey with little sleep. Very welcoming staff, allowed us to sit in the lounge and recharge. Breakfast was nice, loved the bhatura.
