OYO Home Exotic Stay - Hotel in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

It's a home stay by oyo, location is behind the Google mart (stationary shop), about the place: The rooms are ok, singles and couples can opt it for a short term stay like 1-2 nights only There is no parking space, the home is at the last end of a colony so might be luck if you can get a space to park there but no security will be provided by the home. Bathroom are ok not that dirty and also they provided with the soaps and hand wash. Environment is overall clean and quite so you can work if you need. They mentioned free wifi but it's not available so stay prepared. It's a self service place so water bottles are to be filled by yourself only, and they provide the kitchen for cooking by own and cleaning the mess in the kitchen. Room cleaning is not daily activity it's done while you leave the room, if requested then they will do the same. I prefer the place for personal visit and stay alone for some business work in the city, the price is also quite reasonable and affordable.

You have to prepare your own food or use zomato. There is one kitchen on ground floor. We were provided 2nd floor. The kitchen has very limited supply. Ac and fan is there but electricity is not there for 2 hrs from 2-4 am in the night. We experienced it on both nights and were woken up on both nights as both AC and fan stopped working in the middle of night. The bedsheets are not new and the bathroom facilities are to the minimum. In one of our rooms even the heater was not properly installed. It is inside a residential houses and getting there in the first place is difficult. I will not recommend it to anyone

The hotel rooms are not cleaned since years. Rooms are full of smell and fungus. Worst hotel I have ever stayed.

my booking id is BWG57260 for dec 26- 2022. Booked 2 rooms online on OYO APP after reading wonderful reviews. When I went to the hotel physically, the staff sitting on the counter said , OYO will shut down business as its not paying hotel owners on time- he said-Earlier OYO used to pay in 15 days but now they take 90 days to make payments to hotel owners . I should have just cancelled the paid reservation there itself but I thought maybe the staff is unhappy that's why they are speaking bad about OYO. So at night my guests arrived and as soon as they entered the hotel, the staff started cooking food . there is no exhaust fan in this hotel kitchen so all smoke was all inside the rooms . when we asked politely , how long the cooking will continue, the staff replied: just because you guys came we cant stop our cooking -no exhaust fan is built in kitchen so we cant do anything about the smoke . my guests including 2 small kids were all coughing and sneezing because of non stop cooking .they had arrived from a 7 hours long flight journey from new delhi .so after they entered the rooms , they found out the geysers were not working in rooms 7 and 11 .when we told staff, they just said, its not working and not repaired - in morning we will give hot water in buckets . when morning came , no soul was present anywhere . my guests just checked out without shower . Rude hotel staff acting like business owner and ruining this hotel business. The owner needs to remove these useless staff and hire hard working people who need jobs . when I wanted to give feedback in the OYO app, the only option I got was that - give good review and we will offer your rs200 cashback. I gave the above negative feedback and I get a message - your comment didn't meet our criteria .i don't want your rs 200, I just wanted to inform OYO management and business owner of the issue we faced .

You just pay for nothing...room service not available.. no in room kitchen and they charge high for giving nothing.

Nice stay. Staff is excellent

They charged me extra because I had booked the hotel from OYO, and they have a minimum fare that has to be matched. Anything less than that, and you ll have to pay extra upfront, or else they don't let you check in. The rooms were just pathetic, spider webs, ac remote not working, tv not working, bathroom fittings issue. The rooms were pretty small as well to be called a 120 sqft room. Maybe adding the bathroom and the common lobby, yes 120 sqft can be matched.
