OYO Daffodills Medavakkam - Hotel in Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

I stayed here for 2 days with my parents, the facilites were good except for few drawbacks. It's not far away from the main road, but to go to a shop or a restaurant nearby was min 300meters. The property is an apartment, a room with tv and AC was provided with double cot for 3 people. We didn't bother to ask them extra bed or cot because I did not stay overnight. The bed spreads on the cot were not that clean, so we had to use our own. The room and the bathroom was clean and toilet kit was provided. There are mosquitos coming in if the window is kept open. They provided breakfast which was homely. We had to 1) check in early in morning 2) go out untime at night and come back to our room and they were responsive enough to open the gates. The property owner has a concern of bookings done with prepaid payment online, so if you prefer to book here I will recommend to talk to the property owner and make the preferred mode of payment as cash.

Stayed here once, rooms are just ok. A/c and Wifi were not working. We requested for late checkout prior to our arrival however they didn't consider our request and urged us to leave @ 11AM which was really disappointing. On they day of arrival the staffs looked friendly but while leaving they behaved little rude. Washroom/toilet was not good, poor arrangement. Car parking area is very steep, so it is better park your car outside. I would not recommend this service apt to fellow travellers, look for some other better option.

Very calm place, good for staying overnight, no food available, easy to find the place, ac haven't been cleaned it seems (the moment I switched on the ac, too much dust so I couldn't even breath), Clean washroom with broken latch. Comfortable mattress, you can park your car at neighboring empty plot. TV and airtel hd dish available in room.

The staff were rude and lacked hospitality. Food was costly and wasn't tasty either. Some Rooms were smaller and lacked ventilation, some rooms were bigger and rooms which had balconies were fairly ventilated when compared to others. Hotel staff said that common areas are not for guest and guest are not supposed to use common areas other than dining.

One of the most disgusting OYO experience. The staff is rude and was drunk when we reached. The AC wasn't functioning properly. We were not provided toiletries and towel, and were treated like hostel inmates rather than hotel guests. Totally unsatisfied with this quality of service by OYO.

Rooms are too small dingy nd full of mosquitoes. Staff are not that helpful.lift not working , very difficult in case of senior citizens.no speed control over the fan nd AC. overall not that great. Reception is not aware of landmark nor can guide to the place. Rude behaviour by the staff

Rooms are good and cleaned. They said breakfast is free but they provided only limited food(4idiles and one cup of sambar) if you want more they will charge extra amount.

Good budget hotel right off Medavakkam-Tambaram road. There are very good places for food close by including Sangeetha, Anjappar, Dindigul Biryani, Sri Krishna Sweets. The rooms are well maintained. It's couples only.
