Lake city view dont get mis fall with the name. Their is no lake view... Hotel is situated nearby shervani resort on a very upcliff location with very steppy range. Parking facility is not proper so better you visit on you foot. Hotel is just ok place to stay. You can spend a day without worrying about say power backup. While i stayed their hotel staff courtesy is good. Atleast they are willing to listen about the problems. What i can say an ok ok place to spend your night.
First of all they should offer you a free stay if you are able to find this hotel. Now about the hotel parking is just for either 2 four wheelers or 4-6 two wheelers. Free breakfast provided is not gud you get omelette which is not properly cooked. Taste of parathas also not good. Rooms are clean but my room had some problem with its main door. I was not able to lock it from inside its really unsafe feeling. Review and rating on oyo are high because manager will come and ask you to rate ur stay in front of him and will ask you to give 5 star rating. Overall it was not a pleasant stay
Very pathetic hotel. Room are too small. WiFi is not working properly. Food is also not good. Dinner you will not get any starter, soups, etc. Menu card is only applicable to Morning Break Fast. In the break fast you will only get allu paratha and bread omlet. There was very less aalu in parathas. Overall pathetic hotel. Do not book it. Final, the owner himself gave 5 star on behalf of us on the phone. Hence you are finding 4.7 star rating. Do not become fool by seeing this.
Average Hotel. Didn't find it promising as shown in OYO. Rooms are not clean enough. No heater provided. Booked this hotel, after looking at rating in OYO app, but it completely turned out to be misleading. Hotel owner forced us to provide maximum rating while checking out. Strongly not recommended.
I wish I could rate less than 1 star. No hygiene. No clean bed sheets and stained also. No ventilation to feel fresh air. Kitchen smoke. Dog littering from other guests. 2. Too far from central location which is very tiresome and always need a cab at exorbitant rates to reach hotel.
It is the worst OYO I have ever visited. First of all staff is not at all welcoming and the Electrical fixtures are too bad even I couldn't charge my phone properly. Don't book on the ratings as the staff person asks you to rate 5 star and persuade you to do so. They even refused to give towels and bath soap. Hated the whole experience.
Location is very bad. Need to climb uphill for some distance. Hotel person confirmed early check-in but when we went there no rooms were available till 12PM. Eventually went to a different hotel. There are several good hotels available right on the mall road itself at affordable prices
Rooms at oyo 8986 are tiny matchbox sized barely measuring 8x8 ft. Windows don't have windowpanes, even grill is broken. Food from room service is ordinary at the best. Not at all value for money - - - Rs 2130 per night for a double room.

What a place it was. One of the best view places in Nainital. There's a trek to get to the top which is approx 1-1.5kms. No signboards on route but the view from top was worth it. Carry a water bottle. You'll get tea, coffee, Maggi, water and snacks
On the weekend and rainy day in Nainital I visited The Cask Cafe & Bar and enjoyed a whiskey drink. Washroom facility separately for Gens & Ladies. Much spacious. Sitting spaces available in different angles means you have variety for choosing area.

Great experience, I would definitely recommend this place. People should go enjoy and feel underneath the rock and between those big cracks which are naturally formed.. some caves are too narrow one I remember is "Bat cave" thus go cautiously.
