OYO 86052 Royal Cottage - Resort hotel in Munnar - Idukki, India

I love the place where it is located and the the room which was provided to us is a modest one but the room we were in had the adjacent room lined with cardboard which was a bit of a privacy issue and seen some water leaking problem thru the ventilators in toilet, Otherwise those Chetan chechis are amazing

Worst cottage. Too much costly even non seasonal Times.

The person at the reception is a con and tries to fool the guests. The room is not even worth Rs 500, there are no basic amenities too ( no fan, no hot water, no proper bedsheets etc). Because of the insects and bedbugs - we could not even sleep at the night because of skin irritation. Bad mattress, bad pillows, used bedsheets and towels ! There is no one to help with anything at all ! Horrible experience - if you don't want to spoil your Munnar trip then pls avoid this stay.

The place is located in middle of the town. Mr Kumar, Manager and the staff are friendly and courteous. A safe place to stay for family and friends. Room quality is decent and hot water facility is available too. Price is decent too! Overall a very nice package. Stay at Royal Club holidays was pleasant! Would definetely recommend to stay!

The person at the reception is totally stubborn,fraud and useless. Hotel is not worththe price. We had booked the hotel offline ( not by any website) for 4200 for 2 nights, 2 rooms (attached the chat screenshot also). I had called the person twice , at least 2 to 3 days ago before my check in date to confirm about the booking. Having paid the advance of 1000 as discussed on call and whatsapp, we assumed the rooms to be booked. But to our surprise, when we reached there, the person started taking advantage of the peak season and told us that the 4200 amount is for one day and he cannot afford to give room for 2 days. Also, he said that the rooms were available only for one day and already someone else had booked it for the second day. We showed him the chats, call recordings to which he agreed as well for the dates and price, but refused to give us rooms at the decided price and we had no option but to leave and search for another hotel. Do not go for this hotel. There's anothet hotel , JJM holidays just next to it. You can go for it.

Small but clean rooms. Hospitable staffs...flexable checkin...worth the money we pay. Stay was comfortable. Provisions for extra beds very good unlike other hotels...immediate hot water supply on requeat

It's good and awesome of take carrying guest especially the rooms r gud it situated in middle of the Munnar and also Kumar is a nice person with humanity thhank u Mr. Kumar to guide us in Kerala but the room is without food facility it so disappointed us

A decent place. Rooms are small but comfortable. Very helpful staffs. Food is good but more varieties can be added. On the whole a good experience
