OYO 8164 Hotel Hans Inn Regency - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

Dirty, unfurnished rooms with small, broken washroom. Room service might as well be the worst in entire Gangtok city. Staffs are rude and cruel, and the manager supports them, so you can get an idea about how "comfortable" the hotel is. Such arrogance and rudeness was greatly offending.

Worst experience...we group of 4 people stayed here for 3 days(booked through agency) Firstly,the room was very small for 4 people. The lock of the door was broken. Bathroom was stinks. No electricity for last 2 days. It is almost 3-4 km away from M.G. Marg n taxies charges around RS 150-200 Rs for 4 people.

We were a group of 6 people travelling to gangtok and we stayed here in 2 rooms and trust me, we all were conned by the agent in new jalpaiguri. 1) For 2 days during our stay, the water supply was interrupted in the morning and we received 3 buckets of water to carry out our daily chores. 2)Don't let any agent fool you by saying that it is just 5min.away from MG Marg( as will be told by the mangal murti tourism agency in NJP, if they'll catch you). It is almost 2.5Km from MG marg and local taxies charge Rs.20 per person for transport. The cost of going to the taxi stand in a reserved vehicle will be around Rs.200/250. 3) The agents in NJP will tell you that the hotel has wifi and TVs but once we went in the room, neither the cable connection was functional nor the Wifi was working. 4)The in-hotel food is extremely costly and pathetic in quality like the price of puri-sabji is 120/- and the most basic veg.thali costs Rs.200/- with no room service. 5) There are very few good eateries around the hotel owing to it's far off location and you would have to struggle for finding the right restaurant if you do not opt for their extravagantly priced food. 6) My bed and the blanket was infested with bed bugs and had terrible experience while sleeping. ___ The only pros are- 1) spacious rooms 2) staffs are friendly, courteous and helpful. ___ Final verdict- Don't get trapped by any agents especially in New Jalpaiguri. Visit the hotel yourself, check the rooms and the promised facilities and then decide. There are better hotels available at cheaper prices and better facilities in and around MG Marg which is the main market.

Very poor service , inco-oporative staff, unclean bedsheet. I don't recommend any persons to stay in this hotel . I shall never stay in this hotel at Gangtok. This hotel is away from MG road about 2 km. Taxy fair from MG road to this hotel is approximately 200-300 charged.

Excellent service, good food , great view from the rooms as well as from the ground floor dining area. The only problem that v faced while staying there was shortage of water for a lil while specially in the mornings..

You will beutiful view of mountain cloud and sky from the balcony warm service but there is no power back up and little away from the market so you will depend on taxi but very peaceful area

Not so good at service i got dirty blanket dirty used pillow cover and bedsheet.dusbin not cleaned.not swept also.Nice sight from above.double bed non a.c 1500/- in the month of June
