OYO 683 Hotel Sri Chakra Inn - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

Took a suite room. Worst room service, the rooms are in bad condition. Rooms are dirty and with alot of stain. Quilt cover are rough, yellowish and stained. Only provide 1 towel for the 3 days stay for 2 person. Moldy window curtains WiFi doesn't cover till the rooms. Have to stand at the lift lobby to use the WiFi and super slow Not recommended for families coming from abroad

Rooms were not clean when we checked in. Bathroom bucket was used to mop the room. Very unclean. No water bottle. Half jug of dirt water and dirty glasses. Entry light didn't work.

I stayed in room 205, which is a lousy double room called a Suite . The room smelled as if it has not been opened for 6 months. The man at the reception came into the room uninvited while i was out and my son was sleeping (he had no business doing that even if the door was unlocked!!) and liteally scared him. The main door and the toilet door gets stuck and needs to be pulled hard to open or close. The bedsheets were very very dirty and smelly. There are no towels or water bottles provided in the room. There are no kettles for tea/coffee in the room. Please DO NOT stay at Sri Chakra ever!!

We booked the room from OYO and got a very great deal. The rooms were very neat n tidy. The service is also catered decently to the guests. The hotel doesn't have a built in restaurant. So online food ordering is accepted. There are some good options incase if you want to go out for lunch/dinner. Great experience!

Very nice & clean rooms, room service is very quick and a couple of staff are very helpful. on top of that, amazing hospitality by Rafiq the hotel manager. He ensured that the stay is smooth & peaceful. Since it's near to the airport, so easily accessible which is another plus point.

The sheets aren't clean. The toilet doesn't flush and the worst case scenario is when the door didn't lock!! The staff weren't professional at all. Their contact number isn't useful and in the whole, it was a bad experience.

Please don't book OYO 683 Hotel Sri Chakra Inn Valasaravakkam for any reason we booked this hotel online n made the payment, but once we arrived at the hotel they informed us your room is given to someone else and all our rooms are occupied unfortunately, but I questioned him have you got my booking he replied saying yes but your room is given to someone else in a very rude way n talking stupid things. Best part is he's recommending another hotel nearby you go there they got plenty rooms you can defiantly find a room. My first time to india and I was very excited but whoever stays at the recipient they ruined everything n we had to book another hotel for our stay. Hotel people are money minded and we had to face very bad experience. My kind advise is whoever traveling from abroad please refuse this hotel because you had to face lots of problem.

Visited this place to book room for my family. The caretaker Bala was talking arrogantly. They said a family room would cost around 2600 and when I asked if I can see the room and if extra guests are allowed and how much they charge for that like those stuffs, the caretaker said I can't ask too many questions, and said if need be I can pay advance and stay or else I can book some other hotel nearby. I found a decent hotel 2 buildings away, for less than half the price he quoted. With such an attitude, he is not a guy to be in hospitality industry. The management should teach these guys what courteousness means.
