OYO 26168 The Clock Tower Hotel - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

Very Bad service..hotel staff not coporate. Cleaning is very poor, drinking water is not provided in room, AC is not working properly, Bathroom is not cleaned and the worst thing is that they are not change bedsheet n pillow cover also not a single days..

The 1 star to this place is for the clean rooms. We stayed in the the Clock Tower Hotel from 29th to 31st December. We were made to wait for about an hour before check-in since the hotel staff was cleaning the room. The room was clean. The mattress had a plastic cover on it (Photo attached). So the bed was very uncomfortable. When we requested the hotel staff to remove the plastic cover they refused to do the same. Apparently guests drop liquids on the mattress and dirty it. Wifi and TV were not working. When we repeatedly asked about the Wifi (especially since OYO guarantees wifi in all it's rooms), three different people made up a dozen different excuses. The bathroom was clean. However there was an open pipe near the ceiling. Water was constantly dripping from this pipe. The breakfast was delivered at 8am every morning. We weren't informed about this before hand so we were forced to wake up to collect it. Food was simple and edible, nothing great. The hotel staff was an absolute turn-off. I'd not recommend this place to anyone who has another option available in Pondi.

Worst experience. We had booked three classic 2x room.but we got only one.The other two room they gave us was not looks like classic 2x room. staff behaviour was too rude.we reached hotel around 10 am but they gave room at 1:30 pm.electricity issue was also there.

Stayed with my family for two morning and one night here. Neat room with all the amenities. I loved it especially it is very near (1km) to beach, arabindo asram and Manakula vinayagar temple. Staffs were good to me and they cooperated alot.. i recommend this place to family people.. I gave 4 star to all these advantages and reduced one star to the noise we heared all the time from outside. Since the market is very near to hotel it is obvious that we will hear noise but the problem here is we were disturbed by the noise even in night time. But it is bearable only.. When comparing all the factors it is recommended hotel only. I booked my room through OYO and the rate was 942rs from 12PM to next day morning 11AM.

Average hotel, average breakfast, amazing location, very close to many tourist things in the city. We were able to walk to the beach, to many cafes, and most of the places to rent vehicles. Definitely stay here for the virtue of location.

I an a student so never a place only for the night. The proximity to places is awesome and toilets are clean. Room service is not that great. Though you can really get vehicles for rent nearby.

Worst hotel with no proper ventilation though they have charged hefty price for a room. Room has bad odour. Receptionist behaviour was rude and they won't even provide air freshner. We just had to choose since this hotel is close by Rock beach

Very Very bad experience, rude behavior I booked 2xclassic rooms on September 21th. But they didn't allowed us to checkin & they said there is no power and water. If there is any problem, oyo should Inform us before, rather than informing, finally the day has been arrived. Oyo sent a popup notification that paynow and flat20% off extra for prepaid payments. Is this cheating or anything else. If there is a problem means without informing us before & they are ready to take/ask payment
