OYO 10800 Ma Homestay - Hotel in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

Ma Homestay is a very nice hotel, comfortable bed, good shower, and clean. The grounds . have beautiful seasonal landscaping. All common areas were very clean and beautifully decorated. There was also self-serve coffee and tea in the lobby. Coffee was fresh, not from machine! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

The place was not clean, washrooms were smelly, no hot water available. The rooms were small and furniture was dirty and old. The bed sheet, towel everything was dirty as well. The location however was good. If you are planning on staying here for the night, it's better than you think about it again.

What a lovely hotel in the heart of the city! Our room was large and comfortable, with a large bath. The Concierge, helped us with dinner reservations before and during our weekend trip to see the play. The hotel is well located, and a great place to stay. We loved it!

I rated this 2 star due to its quality of service and rooms. I visited this place once. I had a booking with OYO. But when I reached they denied to check-in. It was a long dramatic situation there. No one was helping at all. After a long conversation with OYO and hotel staff they allowed to check in after 1 hr. Their talking style was also so rude. At last we checked in. But what was that ???? We were given a room which was looking like a single bed room where we had booked for double bed couple room. Room was also dirty and don't say about bathroom . Whole room was smelling too much. So we have to spray our deodorant . Bed was also dirty and pillow cover was smelling. We told them to change then after sometime they changed the pillow cover but not bedsheet. As we had some work outside and we had to stay outside much time we didn't insist on this anymore. But it was not a sign of hospitality. Fortunately we spent the time and at last we were about to checked out. Then manager saying " see you soon ". I was laughing inside and saying that no......never...... It was the whole experience with this hotel. I don't prefer to go to this hotel if you have booked for couple. It is best for single person. Thanks OYO who give 500 refund for this type of inconveniences. But this is not the way to manage your guests. I will say that from giving refund it is better to take some actions on hotels and took some steps to improve them.

The staffs were all courteous and helpful. The complementary breakfast was the best we have experienced in a hotel/motel setting. They cook to order egg omelets if you so desire. The patio area with a gas fire pit is something I will plan on for our next stay.

Bedrooms are very small and no proper ventilation. Had to rely on AC. The bedsheets were dirty. There's a lot to be done maintainance wise. The staff behaviour is good and helpful. The 2 stars for are for them.

This is the worst oyo hotel i have ever seen. The room was dirty and the bathroom stink. Bedsheet was not clean even the blanket was not clean. The bathroom was not even cleaned even after i told them to clean. There were spider web all around the room. Aquagaurd was also not working. The staff behaviour was not good. He took my phone and gave 5 star himself.

Although this is a OYO property, it is the worst place to stay for couples. They have secret spy which informs the police when an unmarried couple checks in. All the things are settled with the hotel. The hotel receptionist will call you and try their level best to make you afraid of the police raid, and tell you to leave the hotel because of the police raid and harrasments. And then the couple who checked in, got worried and immediately checks out of that hotel. As a result, the hotel is making a profit by taking the room rents from the checked in couples, and later forcing them to checkout, without giving any refund. Me and my 4 friends experienced the same. I had to checkout at 11pm. Even we complained to OYO, but they are not blacklisting this property. I would like to suggest, not to do a couple check-in in this hotel, because ultimately you will end up in checking out and wasting your money, along with the harrasment!
