It is a very beautiful forest near Gushkara/Guskara in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal. The place is almost 29km from Bardhaman/Burdwan Station by road and perfect for a single day trip. However, it is recommended to visit this calm forest by car or bike. An abandoned airfield used by US army during World War 2 (Burma Campaign 1944-1945) is still there near the forest. The airfield was made by British and named as Guskhara Airfield.

Best place for one day outing with friends and family. It is near to the orgram bus stand. Take a toto and go the forest. The forest is big enough. Go cook chill. U can also take a bath in the pond. There is a forrest office there. But request to every one thak pls put off the fire after cooking because the forest is full on dry leaves if fire catch then the whole forest may destroy. So please keep it in ur mind. Thank you
