I recently visited Open Up Cafe in Mawlai for lunch and had a delightful experience. The Fish and Chips were perfectly crispy and flavourful. The Mint Mojito was much refreshing and highly recommend. The Pork Chops served with creamy mashed potatoes, broccoli, carrots, green beans, and bread were cooked to perfection, offering a satisfying and hearty meal. Additionally, the Chicken Spaghetti in White Sauce served with garlic bread was creamy and delicious. The ambiance of the cafe was cozy and inviting, complementing the delicious food. I highly recommend Open Up Cafe for a scrumptious experience.
Better food. Good quality and quantity. A little bit expensive. But the food is worth the price. Outstanding ambience inside and outside the cafe. Traffic near the cafe is not that much. Will be 3 or 4 out of 10. The ambience and food quality will be 9 out of 10. Waiting time is not that much. Perfect spot for couples, friends, and families as well.
It is located in a lush green environment. Ordered several eatables. They took 40 minutes to serve. For coffe we waited for extra 30 min. The bad part was they served all the items together and some like chicken tacos was ice cold. French fries was also cold just floating in oil. In Cheese sandwich there was only cheese no vegetables. Chicken drumsticks were also full of oil. The best part is seating ambience and big parking space.
Would rate it as one of the best cafe in shillong. Loved the place even more as they had parking space which is a rare sight in shillong. Coming to food, chicken grilled sandwich was amazing along with chicken apple salad. Would recommend this place for a good cafe vibe experience.

Awesome food great choice of starters, burgers, noodles and continental main course dishes. Love their lettuce wrapped pork and pulled pork burgers which I have tried many times. It has good service and a definite plus is that toilets are impeccably clean.
Really had a wonderful experience at this really good looking and extravagant vibe portraying cafe in Mawlai . Really enjoyed their different varieties of food items and total look and feel of the cafe. Tried their iconic monk tea and grilled chicken tacos. Really loved both, even though not a really fan guy of alcohol in tea still a variety concept , and the tacos was good too really good quantity and quality. Also tried their French fries and cold coffe with ice cre loved those too. Would really recommend anyone who would love to experience a nice vibe and ambience to chill out at this cafe.
