Onake Abbi Falls - Tourist attraction in Agumbe - Udupi, India

You have to walk around 4 km trekk it's little difficult but there comes the beauty at the end of it really awesome water fall.....once you jump in to this water fall all your tiredness will run away it's a heavenly feeling really awesome better to take forest guard permission they will charge some fees per head if they catch you later then they will loot you saying fine and all

Incredible and spectacular view of waterfall. Easy trek for adults, but do not recommend for small kids or old aged. there is a well laid trail. Easy to navigate. The views are breathtaking and mindblowing. A good place to recharge yourself and disconnect from the fast moving urban lifestyle. However there maybe some hooligans who create a rucus and create a disturbance for people visiting. some people remove their clothes not considering the fact that there and women and kids around. Sad to see many people disposing waste and wrappers here.

It's an amazing, not so popular falls. The trek is quite tricky at some points but is scenic as you surrounded by dense green cover. But the view at the foot of the falls is beautiful. Need to take permission from the forest officials at Hebri and also need to pay an entry fees of 350 bucks which we thought was a lot but later thought it was worth for the serene views we got to experience.

Amazing water falls. Definitely the trek route is challenging. I categorise this trek as difficult as it has steep ups/downs. Trek route is fully inside dense forest, you will be pleasently surprised after reaching the falls. We can swim closer to the fall to get a nice back massage from water falling from height

Onake Abbe falls Jewel of Agumbe If u are a nature lover and if u love Trekking then must visit place in Agumbe Rainforest . If u planning to visit do visit along with proper groups or nowadays few groups organize trek to this falls. So u can get the information through facebook or through Instagram. Or if u r planning to visit along with your friends means u need to take permission from Forest department officials in Agumbe / in Someshwar So there is entry fee to this falls they charge 350rs per person and they don't allow to go solo or privately so they send guide along with u but they charge separately 1.5k for guide fees. So if u go in group means its worthy Trek is not so easy and it's one side 3.5km Totally steap this trek is not for beginners. I took 1hr to reach the waterfall it's all depends upon your stamina so visit madi enjoy madi . Be careful about the leaches / and snakes because u will be Trekking inside the forest of Agumbe Rainforest so always look down and walk and Don't hold any trees without looking so always be careful about pit vipers. It's a beautiful waterfall Visit madi enjoy madi But Don't trash the place whatever you get just take it back aste Be a responsible traveller/ tourist and save the mother Nature for next generation Few pictures from the onake Abbe falls trek

Just mesmerizing. Visited this place today and would love to visit again. I am sure this is one of the less known waterfalls in this region but definitely worth visiting. Definitely pick this as a spot to spend 1 day if you love trekking and you like waterfalls. Trekking is moderate/easy but not the easiest.

Next level water falls which is 500 feet depth You have to trek 3.5km for this falls Leeches will there every if your planning be prepared for leech bite s In monsoon it's difficult to visit because last 300 meter the terrain in rocky area which will be slippery and you have to cross 3 streams for base of the water falls You have to take permission from tha someshwara range forest department for base And agumbe forest department for top of the falls Guide is compulsory otherwise they will not allow .better time to visit is November to February .water will be there for 365 days because it is in rainforest area .

Awesome amazing and wonderful trek with great water falls visit... Aagumbe has hidden gems and we were lucky to visit one of them.
