O B Chudanahalli Lake - Lake in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Though it says swimming lake, I didn't see any set up to do so. It is least man-made like park. Good for walking and enjoy surrounding view

This lake is located just before entering Melukote.The lake is very big and an ideal location for Bird watching as it is close to some agricultural field and a small rock hill on the far side. So far the lake water is clean and unpolluted

A nice serene place. A bit hard to locate though. Ask the locals, if you get confused. Not properly maintained. There are a few locals taking care of this place and will ask you to pay up for parking your vehicles and to enter the premises.

Very scenic lake with small hills. However the area is a bit isolated and recommend going in a group. There seems to be very many birds in and around the lake, egrets, Little Grebe, sunbirds etc. However the water quality seems terribly bad, there seems to be an inlet of untreated sewage somewhere upstream. The end of the lake bund is a small waterfall, worth walking to the end of the lake to see the waterfalls, and also many birds can be spotted in this area. The place is worth a visit and possibly a short picnic. The person at the gate asks for entry fees, don't think they are authorised persons to collect any fees(seems to be like the people who are fishing in the lake and they don't look like the villagers, but trying to extort and make money - hopefully authorities can look at this and throw these people out)

It is a beautiful lake towards kanakpura road in Bangalore. A remote location better to visit in group with family or friends.. the local people may charge 80rs per person for entry.. not sure if they are authorised for that or not . for car there is parking space before the gate along road side. apart from beauty of lake you can see lots of birds in this area.. you can walk alongside the lake.. if you are on bike then you can ride the bike till the end.. the lake bund gives u a perfect spot to take photos.. from the end of lake you can explore little further to see a small waterfall

It's around 3 to 4 kms from nice road junction kanakapura Road. One can get good view of lake and lots of birds around to watch and enjoy the lake view.

Beautiful place, completely out of the city hassle, all you can hear and see nature around. When we went, we were told its not allowed to cross after a point, not sure why. The view from those places, pretty sure would be amazing

Beautiful Lake, away from city hustle with good access, leading to amazing view of lake along tank bund.. Go in group, early morning and enjoy the nature around.
