Special thanks to Surya Rawat, Mahaveer Bisht (trek leaders) and ofcourse it was great meeting the founder of Nomad Adventures Ankur Kirola. Infact the team went out of their way to help us with certain requirements and support. The overall accomodation, food, trek and knowledge that the trek leader possessed was quite satisfactory. Unfortunately some of our other team members did not had such a pleasent experience and that is simply because companies like Thrillophilia are over commiting/selling to the individuals and groups about the room types, services, food etc. which is creating a wrong impression amongst travellers who are new for high altitude treks. We have to understand that places at a higher altitude has many challenges of it's own, like logistical challenges for carrying basic food items and bedding so expecting luxuary at these places is like searching for fools gold and the simple reason is lack of road connectivity. To enjoy these treks please keep your expectations at a minimal level and adapt to the sustainable living environment which is a harsh reality of the mountains (not referring to the commercial hill stations). Also rather than booking through companies like Thrillophilia or India Hikes it is recommended to directly get in touch with Nomad Adventures and similar companies catering to different himalayn regions as they will be able to provide you a better service at althe same or lesser cost as broker companies charge upto 30% commission on the overall paid amount. For the next trek i am getting directly in touch with Nomad Adventures.
Valley of flowers with Hemkund Sahib Trek it was the bestest trek ever I had in my life.It had everything and unexpected and unplanned things came out amazingly beautiful. I believe every trek is beautiful and different as it has its own stories,different people,different culture and much more. What it had Beautiful valley of beautiful flowers,breath taking views of nature,clouds,rain,fog, delicious food(especially sweet at dinner), Peace at HEMKUMD SAHIB hunger to see more but won't get satisfied you will want more,excellent and helpful trek leaders their experiences,their 360 degree management,stories,Do's Don'ts new friends new bondings,celebration for everyone's achievement.It was extremely great trek and experience.
This was by very first trek and enjoyed a lot. Big thanks to Nomad Adventures and our trek guide. The Guide Mr Bisht was extremely supportive, a special thanks to him. Valley of Flowers was a memorable experience and a must visit place and very easy to reach (depending upon the weather condition). Hemkund Saheb was a bit difficult for us being first timers. With the altitude, cold and continuous drizzle it becomes little tiring but the view up there is worth the climb. Overall very satisfied and happy with the team.

This was my first trek ever, and I was bit reluctant to go in December. But the overall experience Nomad adventures have provided was absolute class. Starting from the base camp to the summit, the support from the staff was top notch. Huge shout-out to our trek leader Meenakshi Ma'am, and local staff Padam Ji who made the trek looked very easy and helped us to cross each stages efficiently. Overall the experience was extremely positive and would definitely recommend to everyone who has been looking for some beginner level trek to start with.
I went to the Brahmatal Trek with Nomad Adventures. As a 18 year old and a solo trekker, i loved the way nomad adventures guided me and i learned a lot of things. I almost felt like a local the way they treated me and i love the fact that they conduct treks in the most raw way possible. They conduct treks in the most natural way which teaches us a lot of things and it is such an experience. Unlike other organisations who spoon-feed their clients. i would totally recommend nomad adventures and I'm always gonna trek with them.
