Nilambar cottages - Cottage in Pachmarhi, Pachmarhi Cantt - Hoshangabad, India

Very good location and nice courteous staff. Still I am rating it 3 star because it lacks kitchen and cleanliness. Bedsheets and covers were very dirty. We were thankful to have brought spares from home and hence changed them. Towels were also dirty. We couldn't ask them to change as we reached room quite late and as we were having our own so did not mind. Room & bathroom cleanliness also they need to work upon.

Nice cottages built on top of a hill in pachmari. All around the view is breathtaking. Rooms and resort needs maintenance. Originally buit very nice but in last 40 years maintenance has not been done. No canteen or restaurant. Staff can get the food from some other restaurant but it is better to eat elsewhere. One wall of cottage is mainly of glass so view is fantastic. Overall resort is gradually decaying, probably an attempt by M.P. Tourism's corrupt officials to sell it to someone else.

Mpt Nilambar Cottage is the best place to stay in Pachmarhi and is located in a very beautiful location. From the balcony of the cottages or from the hotel lobby, the views of the Satpura mountains are very beautiful and during the rainy season, the foggy view is amazing. The cottages are big enough for a stay and are offered at very low prices. Still I would suggest the staff for more cleanliness. There are only six cottages and it is often full. The hotel did not have its own kitchen. So one has to go half a kilometer to Jayastambh Chowk for tea or food. The cottages are surrounded by greenery which is well maintained. Make sure you book in advance on the mpstdc side you plan to stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Woww best place to stay at economic prices even better than the highly rated hotels, Best view from the cottage. * No restaurant is there but we can easily get delivered the food from a near by hotel in a few minutes. Highly recommended

Loved it. Amazing location and excellent value for money. There's no food available at the hotel, but it's worth it staying here. You come on a trip to relax and well this is the most amazing location in Pachmarhi. The staff was nice and friendly. We stayed 2 days and it was an amazing experience.

Mpt Neelambar cottages is the best location of stay in the entire Pachmarhi. People come from far off places to click pictures here. The cottages are big enough for a stay and is offered for a very minimum price. I would suggest the staff for more cleanliness though. There are limited cottages and most of the time it is running full. The hotel didn't have their own kitchen and finding even tea is very difficult unless you walk for half a kilometre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cottages are surrounded by lush greenery which is well maintained. There are monkeys around and one needs to be careful with them as they know their way in if the doors are not locked. But the views of the Satpura moutains from the hotel makes you ignore all the flaws. Make sure you book in advance if you plan to stay here.

Cottage location is perfect to stay I enjoyed the morning and evening view from the Cottage. Food is not available here and cleaning is not up to the mark.

We had two nights in this beautiful room. The hotel was almost empty with few guests. The hotel location is excellent but the inside room is not that good. The bathroom was terrible, When you take shower the whole bathroom becomes a swimming pool, with no proper drainage, you have to wait to drain out water before taking another bucket of water. In Toiletories only soap and hand wash were given not shampoo or conditioner. Two large towel old one. most of the electric plug not working. If you want to stay outside this is hotel is OK.
