New Moidu Bridge - Featured Reviews (277)
Back in the mid-1900s, This bridge was the only connecting link between Thalassery and Kannur. Although built by the Britishers in 1930 CE, This bridge is now useless due to the new bridge next to it.It can be turned into a historical monument.. This is a good place for a photoshoot
This is the new bridge built parallel to Moidu Bridge, the steel bridge constructed by the British. Both the bridges connects Thalassery to. Kannur. Its in National Highway 66. It crosses over the Anjarakkandy river near Dharmadom.
This bridge built during the British rule, is on the National Highway-17 which connects Thalassery with Kannur. It was constructed in the year 1931 and named after the then Moidu. He is the engoneer of this construction. It is a steel bridge requiring reconstruction at present
Nearly old bridge opened 1930
Passing thru this old bridge is bit risky as the condition is very bad and if u still wanted to pass thru this old bridge make sure that ur vehicle won't make more vibration (speed limit below 20KMPH).
Good for photography
Passing the bridge towards kannur, you will enter a railway overbridge with foolish design i have ever seen. Steep narrow dangerous curves killed many of our brothers and sisters. Still killing. Worst engineer and administrators who sanctioned the design.
Its old bridge.... New one is constructed nearby

I tried the Thalassery biriyani, and definitely i can suggest the spot for a better delicious fabulous biriyani.
And that is a road side small hotel, so don't expect a good calm ambience.
Very fantabulous coffee shop on the drive in beach of muzhappilangad. Managed by seven sisters of one family. Very good service guaranteed here. Our tongue won't forget the taste of tea, coffee and chicken, prawn rolls. Good rest room is maintained b
Prayag is a gem and has been such a wonderful host during my stay. He's just one phone call away during any hour of the day for any of our needs. This place is great value and good to get disconnected from the world.
