Despite its size, the houseboat is quite spacious and marvellous. Featuring traditional Kashmiri interiors, each room is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Houseboats are a must-stay if you're in Srinagar. It's the authentic experience. Compared to Dal lake, Nigeen lake is much cleaner and quieter. Mornings are beautiful with the view of Nigeen lake, the Chinar trees across the lake making beautiful hues, the sounds of birds chirping and the sound of rowing Sikharas in the lake. It might sound like too much sugar coating, but I can't help it. That's what we've experienced. We had booked a suite room and I must say that it was incredibly beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Luxury carpeted rooms with attached bathrooms with hot showers and other necessities. From the deck, you can enjoy breathtaking views. There is an antique aura throughout their place. Daily cleaning is provided throughout your stay. The food was really good and to our liking. We were welcomed with delicious cookies and Kahwah. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious, and they even ask for your preferences. It was a pleasure to eat the delicious food prepared by the chef. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Muneer bhai's hospitality which was unparalleled and genuine, Kashmiri from the heart. It was a pleasure to have him as our host, and he took good care of us and our needs while we were there. --> A great stay with great food and hospitality is highly recommended if you want to have a hassle-free stay with your loved ones. We booked the Traditional delight single night stay at the houseboat on our honeymoon. The spectacular views and warmth shown by the houseboat owners and staff will make your trip a memorable one. Muneer bhai has been an awesome host with extremely generous and good behavior. If you wish to experience the real beauty of Kashmir with nature at its best and know more about the Kashmiri lifestyle and traditions, do include this houseboat in your trip plan. It's worth every bit of it and hospitaility from every member will make you feel at home. Finally, the traditions food offered will take you to a different world and leave you licking your fingers. Enjoy a serene shikara ride with Bilal bhai in the evening away from the crowd with the pristine snow clad mountains at the backdrop, take a heritage tour to the house of the owner which is a 3-4 minutes walk from the property and dive into the rich history and culture of Kashmir with Amir bhai where you can also enjoy and purchase handmade authentic Kashmiri artifacts and clothing for your loved ones at reasonable prices,return to your houseboat and have a sumptuous traditional dinner . After you have experienced all of these, sit at the houseboat front deck with a hot cup of Kahwa and immerse your mind and body with the surrounding peace and view, you may find your inner soul chanting the beautiful words, 'Gar firdaus bar-rue zamin ast, hami asto, hamin asto, hamin ast'.

We took the suite room in the houseboat, I reckon it is the most luxurious houseboat in Srinagar. The location of the houseboat is excellent, its on the calm and secluded Nigeen lake away from the crowded Dal lake (which is accessible through Shikara). The view is absolutely breathtaking, the sunrise from the private balcony in the room is definitely something to write home about. Although on a houseboat, the room has everything a honeymoon couple could ask for, apart from the beautiful interiors the room is equipped with a hot tub as well. The hospitality by Muneer Bahi was like a brother welcoming you to their home, He personally took care that we have a pleasant stay. The food unlike other restaurants, was tasty and light on the stomach. When I visit again, I would love to stay at Jacquiline without a doubt.

We stayed for our anniversary and manzur bhai made sure we had an excellent experience. The room was amazing and decorated well as perthe theme. The owner came and connected with us during dinner and the common area was kept clean and everything was brilliant. Thank you Manzur Bhai!

A beautiful houseboat experience on Nigeen lake. The stay was comfortable what I really loved was the hospitality and warm atmosphere.. we had visited with a child who did not want to leave.. nice big comfortable room. Also the bathroom was very neat and clean. Would love to visit again.. Special thanks to Muneer for the special attention.. and thanks to the chef for delicious food...

Rooms are decent. The food served is mouth watering and delicious. Especially the aloo Paratha, this houseboat serves one of the best aloo parathas I've ever had and they serve hot KAWA. Kawa is basically a special kind of drink available in Kashmir. The view from the houseboat is mesmerizing and it's located in nigeen lake where there are more foreigners compared to Indians and it's very peaceful out here.
