Netravali Bubbling Lake - Tourist attraction in Vichundrem, Neturlim - South Goa, India

This place oozes out tranquility. The speciality of this place is if you clap then you will see bubbles in the lake. There was not a single soul at this spot when we reached. No entry fee. But you can stay for sometime to enjoy the calmness and serenity of this place

This place is strange. When we first arrived we thought it was abandoned as there were no other people there at all, and it felt uncared for and 'empty'. A lot of the buildings and walkways are starting to fall to bits and there are weeds everywhere. The saddest thing to see though was that the main temple and smaller temples are 'open' with small candles alight, offerings and incense sticks, but the wrappers and rubbish is just left on the ground around. It doesn't seem very holy or special! The lake itself is quite dirty, and you don't need to clap or make noise at all (who would think that, it's not magic!) because there are small bubbles now and then naturally. Most lakes do that... I would not recommend visiting unless you were passing and wanted to see something weird and disappointing. Apparently there is a priest who lives here but we didn't see them and they don't seem to care for the place.

This place is famous for the bubbles formation in the lake due to some scientific reasons. Some species of fishes are present in the lake which can withstand the lake ecosystem. A temple of Lord Krishna is also present just above the lake stairs which is filled with peace and tranquility. During monsoon season the place is filled up with greenery but the problem is that the stairs and the path towards the lake become too slippery due to accumulation of moss and algae. And during monsoon the bubbles are a bit tough to watch because the rain water drops hampers the bubble formation.

Very beautiful place. The priest told that the bubble is forming because of some gas in the soil. Very interesting. Peacefull.

Its amazing!!! the water bubbles are come inside the lake... dont know why... near krishnar temple is situated... here 2 wheeler & 4 wheeler parking facilities are there..

It was the most wonderful experience i ever had. We didn't know if it was allowed to dip inside the lake, since no information was mentioned but we still did and it was very refreshing. And yes,.one can enjoy the bubbles made when you clap. It was fun.

Nice place to visit beautiful view of nature . Kid's Will really enjoy. but not much water bubble can be seen specially in rainy season, But bubbles are coming naturally and when you clap hands means if you make noise bubbles are coming more it's all about Nature's secrets God's creation.

Also known as Budbud, Budbudyachi Tali, and Bubble Lake. the lake is famous for its bubbles. These bubbles rise continuously to the surface in various places in the lake. Strangely enough, they also appear to respond to certain sounds and rise faster if you clap! . The lake/pond is a place of religious significance for the local peoples, not merely for the lake, but also for the nearby Gopinath Temple. During monsoon pls be extremely careful while reaching the pond as the floor surface gets super slippery and it won't be a surprise if you slip. We were about to slip snd fall several times. The lake is a marvel and kids and adults both enjoy clapping to see the bubbles rise. However it won't make a sense to travel this far only for this lake. My companion didn't like it at all.
