Nest Budget Hotel - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

The Worst kind of hotel I had ever seen in my lifetime. Location is a inside a narrow lane where you can not even walk conveniently. No room service. Most of the times water tank got empty though they started the motor in asking. No intercom. You have to go down on stairs to talk to the management. AC was ok. Hotel is surrounded by street side markets and restaurants. Beach is reachable in around 20 minutes. Owner(s) behaviour was unacceptable and unexpected. No hygiene or no proper cleaning of rooms. Foot mats seem to be hanged on the balcony railing for drying. It is 4 storied building though no information was given at the time of booking that no lift was there. Never go by photos or reviews given stars. Overall my experience was horrible. I strongly advise the visitors not to opt for this property.

It was nice stay, we stayed at this place for 3 days. Everything was fantastic. Thanks to Prasath for such great hospitality... Highly recommended...

Fake listing. We booked the hotel from Agoda and we reached the hotel, they said "there is no such booking". When we said we have confirmation email, they said that the previous owner listed this property on Agoda. They didn't give us any room and said it's booked already and it was peak season in pondicherry. We found another hotel after lots of hardship. PS: Don't go to this hotel without confirmation on call (although they haven't posted their no. anywhere on the internet)

We stayed there for a couple of days during the weekend. The rooms (both Ac and Non Ac) are very well maintained and the bathrooms are very clean and tidy. Very close to the rock beach about 500 m. Its in the heart of the town and very close to the Sunday bazaar. The owner was very cooperative and helped us in providing early check in. Overall the experience was great and its worth every penny you pay.

This hotel is close to promenade and rock beach which is great. The hotel staff is very polite they provided us 4 extra hours in terms of early check-in and late checkout and let us keep our bags in the hotel while we were travelling. Overall great experience. Must choose this hotel if you need an budget accomodation close to the beach.

Bed was comfortable, A/C was good. Location was near a supermarket, dominos, scooter rental places and lots of shops. We arrived at 7am to be told we could check in which was great however we had to be out at 7am on the day of our check out. Would have been nicer if they just let us check in early as room was ready and hotel wasn't full. There were a lot of small bugs flying in our bathroom. Tv did not work.

Clearly this is a budget hotel so you have to tone down your expectations but within that class this is a good place to stay for a short time, especially if you are young and/or traveling alone or without family. There are different WiFi networks on each floor. The facilities are basic but work. The water takes a while to heat up and the bedding sheets and pillow cases are ... very worn but if you are used to hostel travel it's okay. Mr. Balasubramanian is a dedicated host, somewhat new to the business and very, very helpful. He takes his obligations as a host seriously, hates to say no and will go out of his way to accommodate customers.

It is a newly developed one, clean and clan and beautiful one. The hotel is a small one. the entrance is not so nice but it is very clean from inside. The bed the room and the ACs are good. The employees are vary co-operative too. The best part is the location. it is very near to the Bharathi Park.
