Nature's Basket - Grocery store in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

One of the best known gourmet grocery store - Nature's Basket, has its branch located on Hill Road, Bandra. It is one of the best stores for gourmet grocery, fresh produces, bakery, meat and desserts. They have large range of varieties when it comes to cheese and meat. Variety of fresh fish is also available. Cold cuts of chicken, lamb, pork and turkey is also available. One should definitely check the dates though before buying. The staff is polite and friendly. They also have vast range of beer and wine collection. Now with Christmas round the corner, they have lot of Christmas varieties and delicacies. A beautiful Christmas tree adds its charm to this beautiful store. Tip: It is better to check the expiry dates for cold cuts and bakery products before buying. Sometimes the products are close to expiry. Nature's Basket also started serving sushi.

Serious lack of basic quality checks on their products. Happened to me the second time now. I bought one of those fancy breads suppose it was a Focaccia, a day later the bread had fungus. Last weekend I bought sausages, tried one the same day, suppose it was Alfarm, terrible is not the word. Tried the other packet of La Carne last evening, same fate, it was flaking and tasted weird. I am not buying cold cuts from this place anymore.

It is a decently laid out gourmet grocery store. I get my supply of different pasta, cheese, chocolates, dessert ingredients, and fruits & veggies from here. Sometimes, breads too. Their fruits and vegetables aren't however, the best or the freshest. And does require quite a bit of sifting through. Otherwise, it is pretty convenient for me with regards to the location. Wish they trained their staff to be a little more alert, helpful & know well where their products are. When someone is looking for a quick dash-in, dash-out shopping experience, a clueless staff & a seemingly overworked, bored cashier doesn't really help.

Collection is good! But all the products are being sold on MRP.

Had a really disheartening experience here today. I visited the store today with my Mom and Sister, everything was good until we reached the cold cuts tasting counter. My Mom picked up a bite from there and before it even left the plate, a man from his checks shirt from the side just rashly, in a loud tone told her to "KEEP IT THERE" that too twice!!! This is really how they treat a customer, who does not sit in their taster CATEGORY!!! He did this maybe because we did not wear clothes or carried bags & watches from brands that came under his TASTER CHECKLIST!!! But he was with all "Love & Care" interested in making people taste the wines and the bites, just because THEY FAKED so much of purchasing it right away, but did not really do We literally left our shopping cart and walked away, which has definitely had them lose us as their customer, which won't matter to them I guess because they have big pockets to feed! And FYI, we did actually shop, our cart had items which we were really looking out for and found them there, but UNCLE there couldn't see it I guess Not really sure if the company fulfils it's aim to redefine India's freshest and finest food experience for our customers (got it from their official website) but this man's aim to redefine finest food experience only for the "RICH LOOKING" customers This has really left us and especially my mom feeling so demoralized and this was never expected from an employee of such a big brand, because for you it was merely losing a customer, but for my mom it was like losing a part of her self-respect because of this incident.

Nice, sterile atmosphere. Hypnotically Caucasian. The chocolate milk is strikingly overpriced and at the same time very easy to steal: another of god's little tests.

Top of the line super store for the upmarket Bandra crowd. Rich range of bakery, poultry & daily use products. Not a budget store at all. Limited parking available for 2-3 cars.

My usual stop every time I visit Mumbai. Great variety of products, especially healthy options. Fresh produce available. Many options for dairy free and gluten free foods
