One of the largest and the best park of mohali. Very well maintained, has lots n lots of big trees, plants , creepers. Beautifully landscaped, it seems the natural valley like topography has been preserved as it is. It has paved outer and inner track for walking with lights. There is a nice well maintained, separate facility of toilets for men n women. Entry is from YPS side and phase 9 side. Both sides have adequate parking for good number of cars. Recently a new water cooler has been installed in the park near outer paved track towards phase 9 entry. A barsati nala is passing on one side(phase 9 side or say south eastern side) of the park. There are around four khakhi uniformed guards , always in the park for security. One can see park being maintained regularly by lots of gardners here or there.
It has tranformed from natrually grown wild area to a well maintained park in the last 20 years. I use to go there when I was a Child. In my view nothing can beat Nature's own design. Stlll it is a very good place to visit.
a veryyyyyy huge park, infact 1 of my favourite park in Mohali. It is near punjab board, phase 9. It has cemented footpath for walking, sandpath for jogging & running, Sports equipments using which you can do excercise (a open gym type). and very lushed green area where you can sit,chill, do yoga or whatever you want to do
