Beautiful temple , peaceful and devotional environment at the top of a small hilltop. Timing is mentioned 5am in Google, but they open at 6am .
From lingampally railway station it's 270km..time nearly 4 hour.
Can take food and eat there..car charges RS. 50, to go inside temple charges RS. 5 per head..u can get lemon rice there to eat for RS.10 per packet. And bundi ladoo RS. 20 per piece.
Plan always early and directly go to the top level temple..then come down with car to snake temple..Lakshmi Narasimha Temple.
Love the place..they need more maintenance inside the snake as color are fading..
This is a temple of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha on the top of the hill about a 100m high. This temple is located 2km far from the famous sri Rajarajeshwara temple in Vemulawada. The temple is sculpted like an Indian cobra snake like structure. Inside the snake the sculpture of the God will be there. Some statues shaped like different types of humans can be seen. Everyone can experience the fresh air on top of hill with some peace.
Very good and unique temple, easy to notice from the highway. Then just 3 km up the hill. Temple is in shape of a giant 5 headed snake (shesh naag) with Krishna dancing on his head. The way to temple is through the body of snake. That's very diff experience. Photography in sanctum isn't allowed, else it's fine everywhere. Small Cafe is there for pakoda or tea. Parking is also available
Great place. Shri Nampally Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devastanam is an ancient temple in picturesque place on the Gutta. Divine feel guaranteed and powerful diety
Just 2 kilometers away from the town of Vemulawada is an interesting temple, at Nampally Gutta. It is the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy aalayam. The temple is nestled on a small hillock on the highway connecting Vemulawada and Karimnagar. The powerful Lord Narasimha Swamy adorns the hills. You can observe this with most of the temples for the revered Lord Narasimha that are usually located on hills. The Nampally temple also adheres to the same tradition.
Very old temple it's built by chalukya in the 9th centuary, 5kms from vemulawada and karinagar road climb more than 250 steps very historical and beautiful location
