Namahstay Hostel Arambol Goa - Backpacker Hostel in Arambol - North Goa, India

I had the great opportunity to volunteer in Namahstay Hostel. It was a very nice time and experience. The staff was amazing. There was lot of freedom to realize what you wanna do. Nice huge garden, Rooftop , the Shelters Bar makes namahstay unique. But Namahstay is not about the place, it's the people's makes namahstay Home and Great

If you are coming for vacation with shoestring budget then its amazing. For work it's not reliable. What i loved - It is super affordable and the people managing it are welcoming and helpful. I also loved the food there. Vibe was chilled out and Garden area is huge and vibrant. What i didn't like - Dorm room and bathroom cleanliness was a major issue. I was on workcation and there were several power cuts and hostel did not have inverter so had to work with mobile internet or go outside to nearby cafes.

Meilleur accueil possible en Inde. Je suis arrive au check in a 3h du matin, et l'equipe m'attendait, ils m'ont accueilli avec le sourire et m'ont offert a manger ainsi qu'a boire. Je ne pouvais pas etre plus heureux apres mes 30 heures de trains. L'ambiance de cet hostel est geniale, l'equipe donne tout pour que vous vous sentiez chez vous. Ils repondront a toutes vos questions, et vous donnerons tous les conseils dont vous avez besoin. Si vous voyagez seul, vous devez passer au moins une nuit ou deux au namah stay hostel Thank you again guys !

Namahstay is a place where ego gets left in the backpack and people can find peace of mind. It's not just a hostel, more like a comunity i would say. Don't expect any luxury, if you're coming with the right mindset then i'm sure you will love you're stay.

*GIRLS DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL* I had the worst experience here. I had booked this hostel on New Year 3 months prior so that I can have a comfortable stay here through Hostelworld. We booked it for Rs 350 per person whereas the cost running that time was 1k. When we first went to check in the hostel caretaker was sleeping after the 1st night party, so didn't feel like disturbing him and went to the beach for bathing. When we returned the hostel caretaker was still sleeping, we wole him up, he was still not his senses and to our surprise the booking was cancelled and WE WERE NOT EVEN INFORMED. NO MAIL OR MESSAGES. We waited for an almost an hour and he mentioned that we will not be allowed to check in if we don't pay 1000 bucks. We didn't like the rooms so we decided not to but we were already wet and wanted to take a bath. The caretaker was generous enough to let us do that but then the WORST NIGHTMARE FOR A GIRL CAME TRUE. It was a unisex washroom and was covered with tin with down open. While taking bath, I saw a guy peeping through down. I was so shaken to my nerve and that incident forced me to write this review about the worst experience of my life.

This place is beautiful and has a very nice vibe to it! You can chill in the common area and play chess with the various chess players that live there! It's fun and it's awesome

Hello everyone, This is my honest review. If you are in Arambol you need to stay here. I came here for a day and ended staying for 5 days because of the vibe and people who stay here. Its like a commune itself in this hostel and feels like I was the part of it for these days. People working here are very humble, polite and are always helpfull. The owner Mr. Ravi Bhai is a very kind, Joyfull and enthusiast person that I had ever met. Now regarding hostel - Hostel is clean and hygenic. You can get Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner as per your order. I ordered Poha and tea all the time for my breakfast, Always had dinner with Namahstay team. Theres a Library if you wish to read books, Theres a mini Basketball play area where you can Cricket also. Space is big so you can play whatever you wish. There was one thing which attracted me the most i.e Slackline. I was lucky coz a pro slacliner was staying in this hostel who taught me do do slacklining. In these days I met so many people, some great artists, some futures great artists, peolpe with so much talents, Plilosophy and so many things. I learned a lot in these days. Lol I'm witing this like a blog and can go on and on !! But this is all that I had experienced here in Namahstay. The hostel has good vibes and a nice area to hang out in the backyard. However, the rooms and bathrooms are very dirty and there is no WiFi in the rooms.
