This is the best place to view the snowcapped peaks of the Himalayas. There are many telescope touts in the area and actually you DONT need to use them -- quite expensive. Just stand in the same side "way" and take your own photos. If you have a good smartphone or an SLR camera, then you can see the peaks even better. Only way to get to this place is via taxi/car or bike. It is quite far away from the main Nainital city. There are no tickets for this, this place is right on the road side.
It is not that much good view point . The guide told us that it is known as MANGO VIEW POINT but because of trees we can't see the mango shape of lake . But we enjoyed here by our activities and comedy views of our group . Thank you
This place basically gives you an overview of Nainital From this point you can easily see the whole of Nainital. Especially it's lake view and Mall Road's whole surroundings and that just gives your eyes comfort of beauty. Eyes love these views and fortunately Mother Nature is serving the views
The view of the lake hidden amongst the trees is spectacular, though the road is a bit narrow and being a popular tourist point it gets a little crowded. The Maggie we ate here was delicious.
