An important land mark in Madurai North area. The place has become too busy in recent years with traffic. Once a year during the thevar memorial day, this place is decorated and barricades installed for political leaders to come and pay their respects. A very sensitive statue and on guard with police close by.

It's a statue in the middle of the busy street in the middle of a city that is conjusted with very high motor vehicles traffic and a lot of pollution from vehicles and dust from the sand particles that are on the road that comes and falls on you and your eyes as the vehicles transverse on these roads lined with dust and sand.The area is impossible to maneuver and conjusted.
