Muthkur Lake - Lake in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

The place is really quiet. When I went bicycling, it was around 5 O'clock in the evening and there was no way for direct sunlight to hit the lake or surrounding at that time since the lake itself has on most of its west side an eucalyptus forest which cuts the sunlight making it quite a shady place. The quiet of the place and a bit of shadiness adds to the serene and peaceful environment. So it's a good place to be at to you know, embrace what the nature has to offer. For the size of the lake, at the moment there wasn't much water filling it but nonetheless it wasn't filthy or something like that. Nice ride to the lake of you stay at Whitefield... Peaceful traffic flow on a weekend The lake is not accessible though, so you can just ride to the place and come back.

I am residence of Muthkur. Muthkur lake is very bad to see because soil erosion. Become worst nowadays because surrounding people mallsupply of soil by digging deeper. But, peace place and no disturbance. Best place for morning and evening physical activities

Muthkur lake is mostly a dry lake with some water being present in some patches. Cows graze around and there are farms around the lake. You can spot birds, common ones being Munia (seemed like scaly breasted Munia not very sure), red wattled Lapwing was also found .. Peaceful spot ..

One of the untouched lakes on the outskirts of bangalore. About 5 kms away from Hope Farm signal towards chikka thirupathi. Its a big lake but is drying up... Hopefully it gets filled up during this monsoon season. It's peaceful and serene location, good silent place to relax after stressful week. Not advisable to go after 5pm as the place becomes secluded. The locals are helpful and friendly and is in the state highway... Hopefully the lake stays untouched and unpolluted

There is no lake there now. I been there today. Just dry land and some construction are going on nearby

Very camc place to be eiwi your self..med meditat near lake in the morning or evening is great experience..I love to invite you to spend sometime with mother nature

maintenence is poor. But water in good condition
