Good place for bird watching with very few people around. Entire stretch can not be covered as the path breaks in between to a private property.
calm and cool in the early morning. Lots of birds. good destination for cycling.
How beautiful it is to notice changes in nature. Nature is natural and that's how a lake gets filled with water plants with seasonal changes. We have heard a lot about the beautiful lake view. We missed it because we missed the sunset hour.. However, what caught our eye was the lake joining into a stream like waterfall. Would suggest for visiting during day time since it is far from the city.
We went there with no expectations.. but the nature, birds, photogenic scenery were 100% satisfying the route to the view points in lake is tough to find. But you can ask local people and the will guide you. We parked our vehicle at nearby villiage and walked inside village to reach the lake. Its is isolated place so recommended to travel in group. We saw few people taking photos of birds. Im sure u can spot many varieties here. The view of lake near the trees is the best make sure to carry your best cameras and enjoy a half day trip with your friends or fam on the way to the lake you can spot few vegetable farms people also visit here for cycling trips..
Huge lake.. there are two places to visit the lake.. surrounding is clean.. not sure about maintenance of the lake.. nice farms of flowers and chillies nearby to visit..
It is one of the last places that is the representation of the real Bengaluru. The road crosses through the villages. It will feel good to pass through the little Nature that is left around Bangalore.
The road passes through some of the scenic areas.
The lake is spread over 600 acres.
There is a lot of path which will lead you to the sides of the lake. You may have to travel through some Kaccha road for 500 metres.
There are flowers-cultivating and chilly farms around the length of the lake. The environment around is serene. You can also see some fishermen doing fishing in their coracles. Heaven for birdwatching.
Calm and serene place to spend sometime with family. Untouched yet by humans. Wonderful place within the city limits. A gateway near Bangalore where you can take off you mask and take in fresh air.
A beautiful sequestered lake located about 30 kms from MG road. Lush green fields and farms encompass this lake . Verdant pastures and clean water. Easily accessible , amazing view. Total ride time - 1: 30 mins (to and fro ). - 50 kms totally. Short calm cruise ride. One section of the lake has a short( a few kms long ) trail where one can cycle or walk .
I don't know how to describe for you about this place . I chose cycle ride on Sunday to this lake . I have no idea before about this place . First of all it is completely showing a village life in near to banglore . The lake is so massive . Also if you want to see the real part you should choose some narrow roads from the side . Also I am worried about the one think I don't know after a year what happens to this lake .some side so polluted and I am sure the water is not fresh . Also bird watchers should visit the place
