Our hike with Kanthasamy (Samy for short) was absolutely incredible! It began with a light trek through the tea plantation. Samy was so knowledgeable about the teas and the processing of the plants. After we moved further up, passing beautiful views of the near by mountains into the clouds. We hiked to what is the "elephant play ground". Although we did not see any elephants we could see their whole ecosystem, where they scratched on large boulders, where they would lay down - I could easily picture them moving through the brush and area. After we had a very flavorful and local lunch at the top (which Samy provided). As we made our way back to our starting point, we passed a local village with very friendly villagers. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to get off the beaten path and wants to see the true beauty and nature that Munnar has to offer! Samy was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, safe, and so friendly.
Nice half day tour. The guide explained many things about the plants and animals on the way.
Had really a good experience in this trip to Munnar with family, very interesting and enjoyable every time of the day, spend min 2 or 3 days for those who love to enjoy nature quite calm, free from daily stressful routine. Very much friendly trip guide, informative and respectful person
We had such a great walk with Samy! He took us through the tea plantations and jungle. Even though the weather was not great he made it a great day. He also made us such a delicious curry for lunch and brought tea and snacks as well! Thank you Samy! Would definitely recommend if you are in Munnar:)

He shows us magnificent places and feed us the best breakfast I've ever had in whole life. Not only because it was delicious, but about wonderful place too. Sometimes way was hard a little, but for every moment it was incredible impressive! I'm highly recommend this trekking for every one who do love mountains and dizzying experiences. Brilliant guide and fantastic trek. Highly recommend doing this trek!!!!!! Very good & reliable agency. Guide is really friendly and gives lots of information about the history and surrounding area and of course lots of info about the spices, knows every inch of Munnar.
