The Munger Raj Temple is located in a very attractive and lush green complex in front of the Ram Krishna Mission on Mathura Road in Vrindavan. This temple was built in 1932 by Raja Raghunandan Prasad Singh. Statues of Radha Krishna ji and his beloved Gopis, Visakha, Lalitha etc. are installed here. Kadamb trees and other beautiful flowering plants in the complex's garden give a natural look to the atmosphere there. On campus there is a very attractive hall.

Very nice Majaraji Babaji greeted me with English and invited me for darshan with him. Did not catch his name. I think Swami or Maharaji Sundara or Sundaram. He spoke very good Engling and asked me where I was from & shared I was from San Diego. Turns out he knew some people I knew from Bahktifest. (Shridar). I asked me to stay but I was on my way back to Delhi airport that day and had to leave. He insisted I have Prasad which was actually a full meal of rice, fall, spinach, potato & pickles. Very good. Then we chanted the Maha mantra and Jai Radae! I had a nice time and if I ever go back I would like to stay longer maybe in the ashram. The rooms look fairly clean but small but the temple is nice with maha mantra all day long. Very beautiful deities (just a few of Govinda & Radea & Krishna) & nice sm garden. A must visit if you're from USA. There was a lg Japanese group of young women & men staying and some Europeans as well, all w greetings of Radea Radea.
