Excellent rooms, location and food. The ambience on the bank of river Betwa is praiseworthy. Will recommend to all in my circuit to stay here and enjoy hospitality of staffs.
Spent 3 nights in this place. We spoke to the manager Mr. Shashikant Mishra before arrival, he coordinated with a good cab for pick up from station. Delhi jhansi is only four and a half hours with excellent trains. The check in was seamless, room was ready and clean..We had booked the heritage suite. The staff was extremely responsive, genuinely hospitable and very open to any changes in food that we required. so much so that one day even khichdi was made on request. The menu is not extensive but would particularly recommend the fish tikka. again the staff customise each dish to your spice levels. The room service was good. twice there was a problem with the air conditioning which was attended to promptly. among the servers mr. mahesh, rakesh and suresh, mr inder singh santosh and all others were very forthcoming to help. The retreat is just across a narrow road from the Betwa river and it is in view from some points . other options available are rooms and AC tents which also looked good, they had conventional murals painted on the walls. the only suggestion is that there are no local bundelkhandi dishes on the menu.
This is a M P TOURISM hotel. It has beautiful rooms, AC tented accommodation etc. The property is beautiful with a nice landscape at the bank of Betwa river. It has swimming pool. The restaurant also serves you hygienic and tasty food. Being a govt owned property, it's rates are a bit on higher side.
My familt stayed at the resort for one day and we loved our stay amidst the betwa river and the greenry all around us. The staff were very helpful and courteous. They helped us with our luggage and room service. The breakfast was also very delicious and fresh. The resort is clean and well maintained I will come again and will recommend my friends and family to experience staying at MP Betwa Resort.
Did not stay here but should have. The location is superb right adjecent to chattris and the River Betwa. There are old monuments inside the hotel that give it vintage feeling. Took breakfast buffet here which was not too elaborate but good.
The hotel had built like mountain terrain (cold be difficulty if with kids) with individual rooms builts seperately at some distance. The rooms were amazing. You can also get thier AC tents which were equally as luxurious as the other rooms. If you are in a group and seek more no of room, it cold be a hectic as the rooms aren't connected nor they are in same place . But if you are alone or only two people. Its a must stay.
Excellent Hospitality, best staff ,Nice food. Good Property well maintained. Staff is very polite & helpful.
The food at MPT Betwa Retreat is incredible, even better than sheesh mahal. Picture idlis that melt in the mouth and fresh fruits and vegetables gathered from their garden. The rooms are beautiful, and the service amazing. Anand ji is especially kind and a phenomenal host. Would definitely recommend spending a couple of days in Orchha while staying here
