Room had no central heating and the care taker was extremely rude. We had taken two bottles of mineral water which costed Rs.60 and I gave him a note of Rs.100. The care taker ignored me when I asked for remaining Rs.40 and when I refused to give tip then he threw the money on my face.
It was a different experience staying overnight in a house boat. The stay was good except for the feeling of being afloat in a house boat and occasional creaking sounds whenever there was movement in the house boat. Varieties of food served were limited and could have been much better and more tasty. Place was clean and well maintained.
The young morning group of houseboat is beautiful with one single bed and one double bed. It had a bathtub. Rooms were clean. The caretaker Mohudeen chacha did not allow outside shoes to be taken inside houseboat for cleanliness. Breakfast options were limited -bread toast and upma Or poha. I had opted for poha but it did not taste good at all Apart from food it was a nice stay This one doesn't have AC and no jugad for electricity if it goes down OVERALL NICE!
The worst place to stay . There was pnly one person as a staff serving 4 families . He was so arrogant and rude . He even talked in a rude manner to my mother. Thats when i had enough. The place was so hot and the fans were not working properly. I will never ever recommend this ridiculous place to stay in dal lake

Hi Friends. Our tour organiser had booked the boat house accommodation for 17 persons on 16th April 2023. The room temperature was very cold during the night, as the bed heater was not working we requested the staff of the boat house for providing the ac / heater so that the temperature is maintained as per our requirement. The staff rejected our request by demanding additional Rs.500/- to provide the ac / heater facility. In the bathroom / toilet the regulator of the water control was not working properly. Totally the service and the facility provided was not satisfactory.
