Hygienic, Clean, Peaceful. People are good. Many quick - eat items are available. The price is comparatively high here. First, you need to do the payment and then give the receipt to the respective counters. Tried Papdi Chat (Current price: Rs 90) two times here in last 5 years. Although the taste is good, it is not possible to complete the whole bowl for a common person. It is sufficient for two people. If you try this alone, the bowl will be left with some amount of dahi.. you need to eat forcefully if you want to complete it.

Heard of this place a lot on coming to Jorhat. This truely deserves an applaud. If in the north east part of the country you wish to taste some north indian snacks this is the right place. They have a good customer service and well behaved staff. The options are large. Though it is actually a mithai junction the quality and variety of sweets can be thought of more. Overall a nice experience. I would have given a 4.5 rating. But.ok...

Lot of early morning snacks available! Must try Cleanliness is appreciated Lots of Sweets available. Space is okay type as I was their in morning n generally there is less crowded in morning Try Chowmin Samosa- unique one U will love it.

One of the leading and good sweets and savouries shop of Jorhat. Famous for Dhokla and Big Gulab Jamun. Also try the garlic bhujia and potato flakes mixture

Pro: All the sweets and food items are good. Good Hygiene inside, good staff behaviour, spacious . Cons: Costly, they charge too much for items, not value for money.

I have been a regular visitor to Mithai Junction since it's inception. It has a wide-variety of sweets, juice, North -Indian items, South-Indian dishes. It is budget-friendly and gives you a good value for money. I would also point out that it is a very hygenic restaurant with gloves being used for serving and an ultra-clean kitchen. For people new to the place you can try the Dhamka Roll which has been such a life-saver whenever I was running late for work. The Chole-Bhature is really good and you can enjoy your Sunday breakfast here. The place has a limited seating capacity though. The water here is RO purified and can be consumed without the need to purchase a bottle. You can also try out the Matka Chai which is a recent addition and has become one of it's speciality.
