Mio Amore - The Cake Shop (Chandannagar) - Cake shop in Chandannagar - Hooghly, India

This shop too maintains it's reputation as per standards and quality. There is huge rush at this store as it's located right at the baghbazar crossing, @ GT road. The variety of pastries, birthday cakes and snacks available is a superb plus point, compared to some other smaller stores. There is space for parking (on the road itself) of bikes in front of the store. This store is neat and well maintained, also have upi option for payment along with cash payment.

I purchased a black forest cake on 04.04.2022 from this shop for brthday purpose. When the cake was cut and distributed amongst the guests , we found that some bad smell was coming out of it (smell was like expired cakes or food items). When I called the cake shop over the phone, they were so casual and indifferent towards the issue that I was astonished !! They even did not apologized for ruining the event or the embarrassment caused to me. After sometime they just casually told me that if I could bring the whole cake to their shop they would replace the same. Is is possible to exchange a cake in the middle of an event? They just sold an expired cake and tried to escape their responsibility without thinking about the inconvenience and embarrassment caused to the customer. It was never expected from a reputed brand like Mio-Amore.

Today when I payed back the Rs. 10 note which was payed by them before then they started misbehaving infact when I was not accepting that note then was promised by them that they will take it back whenever needed! I'm probably the regular costomer of mio-amore but today was disappointed

Extremely bad behaviour , can't even imagine about it ! I visited with my mom. I asked for Walnut Chocolate Brownie , (which is my favourite item from Mio amore , i used to buy them from any shops from Siliguri , or from their Jadavpur 8B shop ) The shopkeepers laughed after us very badly and whispered in front of us about us badly . I just told them this is may be not available Chandannagar but I used to eat them . They challenged us and behaved so bad. I have no clue how any salesman can behave so bad with a customer
