Decent food. Comparatively good hygiene. Reasonable price. Near to the old bus station.

Being Himachali i know better what is curry tastes like in Himachal Pradesh ,one of the worst Chicken curry i ever had in my life . Frozen stale chicken came straight from the boiled water with some salt and turmeric and burnt masala which made it bitter . This is not the way curries are cooked in Himachal. Utterly disappointed with the food and they are charging 80 rupees for portion of steamed rice and it's not even Basmati rice .Their rice quality can be purchased 10 rupees kg from local shop . I feel so offended how they are cheating our innocent tourists . Haven't tried veg options however I'm done with this Dhaba. If you are non veg lover ,do avoid this place . I'm a local Himachali and guide as well so i highly do not recommend this place. Small room beside the wash basin is super filthy and stinky.

Food was good except large portions of rotti which i ordered was burnt. I also had chicken cury which was fair. Butter naan was fair.Tea was also fair but they were slow to provide us with tea as per order. Overall i say the best Dhaba to have food which is close to old bus stand of Shimla. Yet, this place dont have any toilets facilities. Another thing i liked about this place was their payment service in the serving table itself. They provide us with cumin and sugar after any dine in in the table itself and even brings the QR code for payment to the table. Visted this place 3 times when i was in Shimla.

Owner was rude and I ordered aloo Paratha in morning which was average. price is reasonable.

Overall this is a budget dhaba in shimla I have tried aloo Paratha in the morning and Rajma chawal in the Evening the taste is okay according to the price

15-17 years ago, I visited here and had the world's best Mixed Veg with cheese grating on top. Recent reviews show the restaurant has not been able to maintain the same standards but the Mixed Veg I and my family had was unbelievably tasty. We were going through old memories when this dhaba came up today in our discussions. 3-4 days we stayed but never could think of going anywhere else, Mixed Veg was unmissable ...I developed a love for Mixed Veg from this restaurant. Milap Dhaba is not just a place to eat but rather a nostalgia for me and my family.

Food is good. Reasonable prices. Seating arrangement is nice. Located between Old bus stand and Gurudwara Sahib bus stop. Parking will be the issue.

It was not really good experience. Price was high rice was not properly cooked rajmah was like water with salt and chilli and the quality of raita was so bad.
