Memo Rooms & Spa - Wellness hotel in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

No food available. Order to outside, even though outside foods are not tasty. Rooms are not highly recommended

It was a lovely experience staying here. The staff were very friendly and helped us in every way possible. Though it is a little distance away from the main market area, it is only 200 metres walking distance from the Ooty lake and right in the lap of nature. The food is splendid and it also has a Multi religious temple complex within its boundaries. We would really like to come back here and recommend it to everyone.

A lovely place in heart of Ooty, with of lush greenary around. We were accompanied with our 2 furry girls and I must say this place is the best so far. We stayed in the villa that had private garden and lots of place for our dogs to play around. Not to miss on the Manager Abhishek is best of the hosts, he was very proactive and prompt with all our requirements - right from the food order to our pets. He has love for dogs, also took care of them when we went out for a bit! Overall, a highly recommended place specially if your carrying your furry friends along!!

One friend asked me to see this cottage and decided, when i been there it was already 10 PM, I Want to see the room before i check in, when i saw the cottage i was surprised it is a very old cottage with a rust smell around, space is ok but you don't feel happy. It is closed place you can not see ourside (Mountain & Tea garden). In the same premises there is Temple, Mosque & church which is really awesome, Abu Babaji charitable trust have maintained garden very well. As it was already 10PM and i am with my family i have taken the room for 4k and thought may extend if required. Next day we went out for sightseeing when we came back in the evening their staff has come and ask for payment, i said i am very much tried i will pay you tomorrow Morning and ordered food so he said ok and went back. Again he has came and said his owner (Mr.Murshid) asked to pay now only and that too 4.5K as they have getting other booking for 6k, there was argument, he said if you want, you can vacate now,by paying half of the amount, he can give the room to other. He was very confident that we cannot go out at that time for other rooms. Finally he charged me 4.5 k. It is a very cruel thought. Boys are good.. they are running pillar to post to serve the customer with a delayed service. You will be having only 4 options for breakfast . Finally i don't suggest this for your Happy holiday.Mr.Murshid dont know what is customer care.

I loved staying here. Few things I really wanted to mention: 1. Property is really nice, we stayed in a cottage. 2. Staffs are really helpful and god people 3. This is surely a pet friendly place. My dog played alot in the garden 4. Food is also good 5. Last but not the least, property needs to be maintained properly. Rooms could be cleaner, pillows as well. Only thing I found which could be improved is cleanliness of the rooms.

Amazing stay... we were so lucky to found this place to stay as it made our stay unforgettable! We stayed in a villa in a private area with a garden, calm was there it was like heaven! Murshid and his team were always there as soon as we needed! You can order food from restaurant and get deliver in the resort without extra cost (and food is amazingly good) there is a fitness room that you can use for only 200 rs extra! The resort also has temples inside for all religions! All in one I warmly recommend!

I checked in at Memo Rooms and spa in Ooty along with my wife Manini Joshi and stayed there for 3days. Wow we both are overwhelmed after seeing our Villa room .It's really amazing .The owner along with the staff are courteous,friendly and giving their best to make our stay feel like at home. The camp fire along with snacks in the evening is going to be an unforgettable memory. The food that has been served by the cook is totally homemade and as delicious and healthy as food made by my mother at home. We both thanks Shaikh Murshid Alam and staff for making our tour a memorable one.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME! Except you get a small villa with amazing food! Long story short, it was a impromptu road trip to Ooty all the way from Nagpur and we didn't book any hotel. We found this one on Google and it was all we needed. Perfect for everyone and it is basically away from all the noise because it's situated in middle of privately owned villas and temples... Lastly, You get to order your own homely dishes and the chef will make it for you! Definitely going to visit again... Also Kudos to the owner Murshid and the Chef for awesome hospitality...
