MeBaKeR View Inn - Guest house in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

First and foremost, the staff at MeBaKeR View Inn deserve accolades for their exceptional service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, their hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest. They were quick to address any inquiries or requests I had. Cleanliness and hygiene standards were maintained in rooms and washrooms. I highly recommend MeBaKeR View Inn to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable getaway.

Dishonest staff who kept my engagement ring and did not return. Please do not visit this place if you do not want your world to go upside down. There are high security issues in case you leave any valuable stuff there. The owner is complete ignorant and doesn't stay there and so the staffs do as they want. I've tried to contact the owner after I've left my ring and come, he never picked the call, replies on whatsapp in 100:1 ratio. When a guest is so disturbed for losing something valuable in his place, he replies after 2-3 days saying he was in a vacation. Sitting in Rajasthan, what power will he hold? No one is ready to take charge for anything. I guess all the positive reviews are posted by his relatives or fraud staffs. The staffs are big time fraud, who as soon as found my ring closed the homestay and came to Guwahati most probably to sell it constantly lying to us on multiple levels. I did not get any support from the staffs or the owner rather they rediculed and sarcasamed me in different ocassions. I hope karma finds them soon. It was the worst decision of my life to choose this guest house and ruin my life that too in diwali. I am not writing this just because I am upset. I took my time, waited and healed in more than 10days and then posted this review just to make a few innocent souls aware and not make a toss of their valuable stuff bought with hard earned money.

The is a nice hotel but it is situated at a remote location. Distance from Police bazar is around 3-4 kms but because it's in Upper Lumparing it has steep slopes and cab drivers will charge at least 300 one way. You won't get to eat anything here. No restaurant nothing. Good part is breakfast is included so you can eat the breakfast and go out for sightseeing then have lunch and dinner. For dinner you can give pre order to Molina the manager. She is the heart and soul of the place. They give mineral water and every room comes with complementary tea sachets which can be refilled as well. Just an advice to the owners if they can install Wi-Fi in the hotel and also provide good quality curtains as the curtains are see through. Molina the manager will make you feel so comfortable and she is very helpful as well.

We visited Shillong and stayed there for two days. The hotel staffs were very helpful and caring. Rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. The view of Shillong from the roof was mesmerizing.

A perfect stay in Shillong also comes with an astonishing view of the city. Good rooms, basic amenities available like complimentary water bottles, water boilers, tea and coffee bags, milk pouches, towels etc. Well maintained bathrooms and rooms are there in the hotel. Also you can order the food here, they'll provide a menu to you. The staff is cooperative and polite. This place is nearby to the police bazar, only 20 minutes distance. We had an amazing experience here.

Stayed there for two days. Ms. Molina, the manager was exceptional and very helpful and caring.The rooms are clean, bathrooms too. And the rooftop view at night was splendid. Surely will visit again.

Fantastic location in between local area. So peaceful with great view. Staff was very helpful and polite. Parking is available. Must stay here if you are visiting Shillong. Breakfast was complimentary. You can also eat dinner here if you want but would suggest to go to Police bazaar at night and eat there as per your liking.

Don't book through online or phone. After booking, at the extreme moment they said that they have problems in my booked room. They told me for Deluxe room but after reaching the property I was given a standard room.
