Mawphanlur Natural Lake - Tourist attraction in Nongstoin - West Khasi Hills, India

A must visit place in West Khasi Hills. Very scenic and very tidy at the same time. No restaurant is available up there in the campus. So if you have enough time then, you can carry home-cooked food and enjoy it up there. Just don't litter the place. Entry charges Adults: 100Rs Students: 50Rs

Lovely hilltop with natural lakes. This is my third visit. In dirst visit there was no road. 2nd visit road. 3rd visit now lots of constryctions happening around, i huess hotels or guest house are coming up , which apoils thw natural beauty. Yet i still love this place. Perfect peaceful place

Breathtaking views of water and surrounding greenery. It is a splendid sight to behold on a sunny day. You can also try boating on the lake. The hills nearby are not that steep and can be climbed easily. The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking. It's great for a weekend trip with family or friends.

Just so perfect for a calm vacation. Do give this palace a try. Scenic beauty will give you a full to bollywood vibe but i feel the cottages need more maintenance as 5k for one cottage is really high so everyone expects a good bathroom atleast. But view ke age kuch nhi . Family friendly as well.

Road is decent but very remote but very breathable place throughout the day.... Specially sunrise and sunset are mesmerising

It's very an amazing place and it added a very nice touch along with the lake. And a very lovely view from the hill top.

A must visit place in West Khashi, Meghalaya. The place is serene. One must visit this place once their lifetime and before it becomes commercial.
