Margic Star Cottage - Group accommodation in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

The rooms are very spacious. They do not have kitchen. There are 2 rooms and one bathroom and the compound is also very spacious you can easily park your vehicle in the compound. You will get hotels nearby for breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. I gave 4 star because it was very cold and they were not having heater so please install heater in the rooms.

Me and My Family Stayed here for two nights. The Host Siddiq is really a responsive and cool man. We were late to reach the hotel and he called us checked about our arrival and kept the room ready and check in/ out was really smooth. The Place is located in right the middle of the city. It's 3 Floor building , looking neat and clean. Do not expect any scenic view from the place as it is surrounded by other buildings, however, if get out and walk about a kilo meter up the hill, you can see an entire panorama view of the city. We were allotted 2 Bedroom stay on the ground floor, it was neat and clean. The bathroom was clean as well and hot water was available from 7AM to 10 PM. The service man was really responsive, whenever we asked for Tea or Hot water to drink, he provided them asap. This place has parking facility as well, so if you are travelling with car, no need to worry about parking. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, nothing much to complain about this place. Suggestion to Hotel Management: There's a lawn in the ground floor, please clean it and arrange the chairs, it would be great for tourists to sit there and relax. Also, you can do something in the terrace, to have scenic view or have relax time.

It was a 2 room flat with living room with sofa and small dinning table with all plates & glasses were provided. Stay was very comfortable. It was very well maintained very hygienic. Excellent staffs & they were very helpful, service was really. Complete value for money however there was no extra dinning facility inside the property. Hot water facility was provided. Property is located within the Ooty town & it is accessible.

This is budget friendly accomodation for ur family, persons in this hotel are friendly. But rooms are little bit dusty in the corners and window panes. If one concerned about clean and neat room then u can look for other alternative and definitely not this one.

Nice cottage, with 2 bed rooms and a sit out area...we visited in December, so its super cool, you will have to pack winterwear including gloves and socks. Car parking space available. You can take package for a day for sight seeing in Ooty. The way up to hill is little dangerous with 36 hair pin bend curves, if you drive on your own from Karnataka, which is through Bandipur/Mudumalai forest area. Tamilnadu side route is good. Ooty is around 3500m above sea level. With all precautions, you can enjoy a lot and it will be memorable..

I have booked this cottage using MakeMyTrip app for a family trip of 4 adults and 2 children. Firstly, I thought it is a HomeStay, but it is simply a cottage which doesn't have any facilities except beds (2 bed rooms) and bathroom. Secondly, price (around 3k per night) is not at all worth for stay as we can get some good hotel rooms(2) if we spend another 500. Need to travel for everything to city (minimum 1kms) and the road is in a small street which has slope (difficult to drive when there is a opposite vehicle). Even though the door is closed, we can hear every sound from outside, it disturbs a lot while sleeping. Overall this is for the people who just want to sleep and use bathroom but not for staying in room and to enjoy the weather.

Worst cottage... services are not good... 2 nits 7k price... dirty hall... Worst exp

Excellent property to stay in with good staffs and services was up to the par.The hospitality and the accommodation was excellent. No complimentary breakfast no WiFi facility but value for money as per my experience. Location of this property was very good within the Ooty town.
