I urge to all Maharashtrian please do visit here. Alot of artefacts from mediaeval period. Mostly Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and later Peshwas. Photo's are not allowed here but it deserves. It's astonishing
Place has nice transcripts and weapons exhibits. The museum has the potential to grow big and tell a beautiful narrative. But.. The "pramukh" of the place or what he calls himself, is very adamant. Had to wait for around an hour just because he had locked the place gone to have Chai. Didn't allowed us to click photographs even when we had proper permission and ticket for photography.
