Fafda (Hindi: phaaphddaa) is a popular Gujaratisnack. In many festivals, fafda is most preferred snack. Fafda is rectangular in shape and yellowish complexion. It is eaten with a chutney and salty fried-green chilli. Fafda got famous by a festival named Dusherra. Traditionally, Fafda and Jalebi is the most sought-after sweet and salt combination. To create Fafda, besan (bengal gram flour), oil, carom seeds (ajwain), papad khar, salt to taste. Amalgamate all the ingredients in a bowl and create a mixture, make dough of the mixture using enough water and Make small rolls of the dough and roll in a cylindrical shape, and after flattening, deep-fry till it turns crispy.[1] In many festivals, fafda is most preferred snack. Lovely place of Gondal city. Fantastic snacks catered, very hygienic and tasty food. Neat, and clean area, with nice and friendly staff. Very organised working system. All food simply mouth watering. Evening munching snack items like Vada pav, dahi wada, gathiyas,samosa, french fries, chilled curd and buttermilk etc available to eat at the outlet. Though small place,but yummy food catered. Also take away snacks like gathiya, chips, chevda, sev, etc of very nice authentic taste. Total fan of this place. Wish to visit frequently. Totally worth it.
