Mangala Vilas - Biryani restaurant in Salem - Salem, India

Today i have taken parcel from mangala vilas.. One meals and chicken fry for Rs. 310/- wort less waste of money. Its was full of curry leaves only.. In chicken gravy too burnt smell..

We had lunch on mangala vilas today I order two meals and briyani and chicken 65 That chicken was not like briyani totally waste and chicken 65 not like 65 It's like as bajii 65 only have corn powder

I went to this place after watching all those over hyped YouTube videos. The mutton and chicken gravy both had a burnt smell. We ordered pepper chicken, the chicken was hard and was not cooked well at all. The pepper chicken only had more curry leaves and burnt pieces than chicken pieces The egg dosa was very thick and average. Overall i would not recommend this place to anyone! It is better to eat at Rajaganapathy which serves way better salna!!

Went with a group of four friends for dinner. Speciality was the parotta and chicken fry. Immensely one of the best. We tried mutton fry as well. It was A class, served hot and delicious it was. One of our friend was a vegetarian and there was no gravy nor chutney available for dosa. But they got it from nearby shop for him and one another server ordered to make a chutney soon and put us to comfort. Overall a very good goto place for non veg lovers. The best in Salem I would say.

Had breakfast here. Really awesome. Feel like hone made food. And the best part is their secret Masala recipe. Authentic South Indian taste. Menu priced reasonable. Even had a heavy breakfast doesn't feel like other shops Masala food. Feel good and yummy . Highly recommended this 60 years old restaurant. Must visit once if you travel via or to Salem.

It's an ordinary mess and nothing special Too much hyped in social media Food here is Very expensive

I went here for breakfast after it's fame. I ordered 2 dosha, server still asking anything else, I told it's enough but he says we won't give only dosha you have order side dish or atleast omblet, then I ordered 2 dosha (40)+ 1 omblet (30)=70. But the thing is they don't serve sambar, chutney, they serve only non-veg gravy which I won't like at all. If we see price list side dishes are more than 200 rupees. These prices are too high than the quality and taste. And server, old fatty man looks ready for fight. Before reaching this hotel, I crossed street side hotel, the one I used to eat, after breakfast I thought it be better food quality according to its price.

This one the one famous hotel and old hotel in Salem. Please visit this place and do not take the parcel. We need to have it there only. Must try parota, all non veg items. Note: please visit before 2pm( if you need to have all kind of items)
