One of the most cleanest beaches of North Goa. On a day with clear sky, you will get to see beautiful colours of Sunset. If you are someone who likes calm, clean and peaceful time, this is the place matching all those expectations. There are few shacks on the beach to have food and few on the road as well to have food. There are some centers to learn to Surf, some centers taking Yoga as well.
Quiet beach; wasn't crowded at all any day that I went. However- read contamination reports before going in the ocean. As of October 2023, the fecal coliform level was 5 to 10 times higher than what is considered safe. You have to walk through the restaurants / hotel properties to get to the beach. There are some places to sit that are serviced by the restaurant, so you can order drinks while on the beach. There's a surf rental place to the south too. Overall, a nice place to relax. Just don't go in the ocean.

We enjoyed a wonderful morning at Mandrem Beach a few days ago. We took shelter at the "Hangout" shack where Chiranji took great care of us. Very nice bar with a nice selection of food. It was a cool rainy day so the sand was cool and the waters were calm. The beach is still relatively unspoilt with nice facilities including a life guard on duty. Well worth the drive from where we were staying in North Goa. Mandrem is a really nice beach to visit if you are looking for a place away from the crowds. The drive to the beach is quite scenic from where we were. I hope that it continues to be this way for a long time.
Best place to visit with family and friends. Calm and not overcrowded. Good food but limited shacks. Enough place for parking. Also clean beach so can definitely take a dip in it. Highly recommend this beach.
