Best Lodge.. The USP of the lodge is its very homely. The Canteen Manager Mr. Tubai, he cooked whatever i wanted to eat. His special is country chicken with oven bread (Roti) and Rice.

This is a forest lodge which you can book online through the West Bengal Forest Development Corporation website. Located in Hashimara, the lodge is located right on the edge of the forest. The rooms are reasonably good and are equipped with AC. Food at the restaurant is very tasty. However, do keep in mind the fact that there is no bar or electric kettle in the room. The staff are courteous and well behaved. Car parking is available. This is a convenient location for the Chilapata safari. Nice experience

Big, nice and well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, try to reach early so that you get bigger rooms. Food is awesome. Service is good. The best part is the walking through the jungle which just starts from the backside of this resort. Chilapata kodalbasti safari is very near from this resort.

The Lodge is wonderful but they don't allow to stay at 1st floor peacefully. The ground floor rooms are average but 1st floor rooms are truly wonderful. The food service is available in the ground floor and the prices are reasonable.

Set amidst the lap of benign mother nature, the rain forests of Chilapata starts just after the fence of the resort lodge. A beautiful forest stream named Malangi flows through the periphery of the lodge. Green, full of hornbills and peacocks, Rhinos and elephants often show up in the other side of the stream. It is dreamy. You wake up to the sound of peacocks screaming inside the premises.

Best WBFDC bungalow we stayed at till now. Good location, great rooms, yummy food, awesome hospitality. The staff here are really good. A must stay place near Chilapata forest.
